SOL Boys/Girls Cross Country Wrap (10-1-17)

Check out some of the top SOL finishers at this weekend’s invitational meets.

SIX FLAGS WILD SAFARI INVITATIONAL
Girls

North Penn senior Ariana Gardizy finished first in the Girls Varsity A race with a time of 18:25.00. Junior Maeve Gimbert was fourth with a time of 19:42.00, and Olivia Dyer finished seventh with a time of 20:08.00. Jaime Diedel finished 17th with a time of 21:02.00, and Jenna Webb was 24th with a time of 21:23.00. Ximena Treojo-Mora was 26th (21:38.00).
North Penn finished second out of 11 teams in the Girls Varsity A race with 53 points. Kellenberg Memorial finished first with 43 points.

Souderton finished second out of 11 teams in the Boys Varsity A race with 78 points. Kellenberg Memorial was first with 34 points.

25TH ANNUAL CARLISLE INVITATIONAL
Boys

Council Rock North finished second out of 22 teams in the Boys Challenge Race with 109 points. La Salle was first with 83 points. Ryan Campbell finished third out of 153 runners with a time of 15:28, and Ethan Koza was fourth with a time of 15:33. Sam Early was 17th (16:03), Kevin Ehrgott was 27th (16:15) and Matt Mullen was 58th with a time of 16:50.

Upper Dublin finished ninth out of 48 teams in the Boys Champion Race.  Ben Brugger finished 10th out of 344 runners with a time of 16:21, and Samuel Griffin was 22nd with a time of 16:37. William Mead was 79th with a time of 17:20, and Jeff Shepherd finished 121st in a time of 17:47. Joshua Skinner posted a time of 17:53.
