12th PIAA FOUNDATION XC INVITATIONAL
Girls AAA
Runners from five SOL teams – Central Bucks West, Central Bucks East, Pennsbury, Pennridge and Bensalem - competed in the highly competitive PIAA Foundation XC Invitational in Hershey on Saturday.

CB West finished second behind only North Allegheny (66 points) in the 36-team field with 126 points. CB East also was in the top 10, finishing seventh with 244 points. Pennsbury was 17th (450 points), and Pennridge was 20th (574 points).
CB West sophomore Julia Flood was the SOL’s top finisher, posting a time of 19:47 to finish seventh out of 247 runners. CB East junior McKenna Brophy was 21st with a time of 20:22, and West junior Piper Wilson was 22nd with a time of 20:25.

Boys AAA
Central Bucks East and Bensalem competed in the PIAA Foundation XC Invitational in Hershey on Saturday. East finished 10th in the 37-team field with 327 points. East junior Jack McManus was the SOL’s top finisher, posting a time of 17:16 to finish 31st out of 257 runners. Senior Cade Sands was 41st with a time of 17:32, and senior Cole Sands was 68th with a time of 17:57. East senior Sean Lahetta posted a time of 18:11 (96th). Junior Danny Ling was Bensalem’s top finisher with a time of 18:17.

PENNCREST INVITATIONAL
The Souderton boys’ cross country team placed second behind only the host team at the 10-team Penncrest Invitational. Top finishers were Josiah Moyer (4th, 17:28.7) and Paul Boehm (5th, 17:29.8). Other strong varsity times were turned in by Nic Morales (18:29.4), Tommy Greve (18:34.0), Brian Bruno (18:56.6), Jake Lavely (18:57.3) and Kevin Walter (19:15.4). Freshman Manny Rota-Talarico placed eighth in the ninth grade race.
