Girls
UPPER DUBLIN 14, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3
The Flying Cardinals made it official, clinching sole possession of the SOL American Conference crown with Friday’s win. The Flying Cardinals led 10-2 at halftime on their way to the big win.
Taylor D’Ginto led the Cardinals with four goals and one assist while Kayla Mullen had the hat trick, and Rachel Difranga had two goals and four assists. Julie Cross added two goals and two assists, and Shelby Kenny had two goals. Dominique Coleman contributed one goal and Anna Trentini, one assist.
For the Colonials, Kirsten Monte had two goals and Monica Dresnin, one goal.
Sarah Gallagher had four assists in goal for the Cardinals.
The Flying Cardinals are 12-0 in league play (13-3 overall), and the Colonials are 3-8 in the league (9-11 overall).

WISSAHICKON 11, PENNSBURY 5
Senior Laura Frankenfield set a career goal scoring record with the 269th goal of a stellar career. It was the 67th goal of the season for Frankenfield, who scored four goals and also had three assists. She also had three ground balls.
Zoe Gomez added four goals, one assist and three ground balls, and Lauren Irvine had two goals. Taylor Myers closed out the scoring with a single goal.
Trojan sophomore goalie Julie Silverman turned away seven of the 12 shots she faced.
The Trojans took a 5-4 lead into halftime but then outscored the Falcons 6-1 in the second half to earn the non-league win.
The Trojans are 11-4 overall while the Falcons fell to 10-3 on the season.
NORTH PENN 10, SPRING-FORD 4
The Maidens opened up a 6-2 lead on their way to Friday’s non-league win. Hannah Young led the attack with four goals while Lauren Green and Julianna Hill both added two goals. Green also had an assist. Jen DeLongis and Ashley Durham both had one goal. Brittany Tyson and Emily Schulze both had one assist.
Gabby Didomizio had five draw controls. Emily Schulze led the defense with five ground balls, and senior goalie Jenna Stover turned away 12 of 16 shots in goal.
The Maidens are 11-3 overall.

Boys
CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 12, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 4
The Titans beat the Bucks 12-4 in a Suburban One Continental Conference boys lacrosse game played at Central Bucks South on Friday afternoon.  Smothering defense led by Timmy Ross, Kevin Witchey, Conner Bechtel and Tim McCrudden held CB West scoreless for the first two periods, while the Titans received goals from Ty Strayline and AJ Caputo to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.  
The Titans broke the game open in the third, scoring seven goals in the period to the Bucks two tallies to take a commanding 9-2 lead over their crosstown rivals.  CB South added three more scores in the fourth, including two by Brendan McGrath, who was the Titans high scorer with three goals and two assists.  The Bucks added two unassisted fourth quarter goals, but Kevin Uzelac and Bobby DiBrino came in to help shore up the Titans defense while Anthony Paone closed out the scoring for the Titans on a sweet assist by Jimmy Gallagher.  
In addition to McGrath, the Titans received a hat trick from Strayline. Willie Pendleton and AJ Caputo each scored two goals. Tom DiBrino had a team high three assists while Jake Henze had a pair. McGrudden led the defense with seven ground balls while Paone had six ground balls.
Ryan Kelly turned away 12 of 14 shots he faced.
For the Bucks, Jimmy Seykot led the way with two goals and one assist. Jimmy Steigerwald and Reilly Kratzke both added a goal. Mike Harvan had 12 saves in goal.
With the win, CB South improves to 7-3 in the conference and 11-4 overall, while the Bucks drop to 5-5 SOL and 7-8 overall.

HATBORO-HORSHAM 10, NORTH PENN 2
The Hatters made it official on Friday, clinching sole possession of first place in the SOL Continental Conference standings with their no-doubt-about-it win over the Knights. Seniors Jimmy Murphy (three goals), Kyle Mullen (two goals), Ben Cellini (one goal), Ryan Higgins (one goal) and Connor Kreston (one goal) led the Hatters offensively. The Hatters also got one goal apiece from Keith Cameron and Nick Paci.
Marc Poust, who had four saves on five shots and one assist, anchored a stellar defensive performance by the Hatters, who received important contributions from seniors TJ Keleher, Andrew Hildebrand, Jack Lavery, CJ Pessalano, Jeff O'Brien and Dylan Kim
The Hatters (12-3, 11-0 SOL) have one league game remaining with an opportunity to go undefeated in the league for the first time since 2004. On Monday, the Hatters will travel to Downingtown West for a non-league contest.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 16, NORRISTOWN 5
The Colonials opened up an 8-1 lead at the end of one quarter and took an 11-4 lead into halftime of Norristown’s Senior Night game on Friday. Jake Brown (five goals and four assists) and Alex Bilodeau (five goals, three assists) led PW’s attack. Andrew Jones (two goals, two assists), Deqwan Phillips (two goals) and Tyler Epright (two assists) also had multi-point games. Shane Hickey and Pat McGrath each scored one goal while Corey Kelly had one assist.
For the Eagles, Sean Calhoun (two goals, one assist), Drew Baltrus (two goals), Tyeler Kingkiner (one goal) and Jeffrey Calhoun (one assist) contributed to the scoring.
PW’s Brett Kaplan won 12 of 15 face offs. Riley White had nine saves in goal for the Colonials.

WISSAHICKON 17, UPPER MERION 4
Tommy Monaghan scored six goals and added a pair of assists while Luke Gomez added four goals and two assists to lead the Trojans’ attack. Brooks Melvin, Jack Shea and Zach Scannapieco each had one goal and one assist. Nate DeGroat, Cole Kronick, Drew Stacks and Tommy Kline all had one goal. Alex Ortiz and Austin Jones both had an assist to close out the scoring.
Trevor Kupecky led the Vikings with the hat trick.
Tyler Freas (six saves) and Jack Myers (one save) combined for seven saves in goal.

WISSAHICKON 16, NORRISTOWN 1
The Trojans sprinted to a 14-1 halftime lead on their way to the big win. Tommy Monaghan (three goals, one assist), Cole Kropnick (three goals, one assist), Zach Scannapieco (two goals) and Brooks Melvin (four assists) led the attack. Jack Shea and Alex Ortiz both contributed one goal and one assist, and Austin Jones, Tyler Zapach and Chris Tronski each added one goal.
Norristown’s lone goal was scored by Mike Smith.
Tyler Freas (three saves) and Jack Myers (six saves) turned away nine of 10 shots.

ABINGTON 21, NORTH PENN 10
Will Dulin had a hand in 11 goals, scoring one and assisting on 10 others while Hunter Jones had an eight-point day, contributing four goals and four assists. Joey Lomady (three goals, one assist), Gus Greenberg (four goals, one assist), Brian Gallagher (two goals, one assist), Cameron Leech (two goals, three assists), Austin Pifani (two goals) and Matt Gormley (two goals) also made important contributions on attack.
Pifano had a team high nine ground balls and also was 9-4 on face offs. Lomady had eight ground balls and was 12-4 on face offs. In goal, Eric Goldsborough (eight saves) and Blake Freidman (four saves) combined for 12 saves.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 10, SOUDERTON 5
Kyle Walter scored three goals and contributed an assist to lead the Golden Hawks. Tommy Vanderslice had two goals, and Shane Magrann added a goal and assist and Corey Giampietro had one goal. Austin Devinney had three assists.
