Boys

UPPER DUBLIN 8, CONESTOGA 7 (OT)
The Flying Cardinals won a thriller over highly regarding Conestoga. Leading the Cardinals were Michael Mullen and Michael Sowers with six points each. Mullen scored six goals, including the game winner in OT while Sowers had a hand in six goals with six assists. Nicholas Vernacchio added a goal and an assist, and Evan Scott had a single goal. Jack Rapine had an assist and led the Cards with eight ground balls.
UD goalie Bobby McPeake turned away 13 shots.

GERMANTOWN ACADEMY 6, NORTH PENN 4
The Knights held a 2-1 lead after one quarter of action only to watch the Patriots score four unanswered goals in the second quarter. That proved to be the difference in the game as the Knights outscored the Patriots 2-1 in a second half that featured stingy defense by both sides.
Luke Homan and Matt Brady both scored a pair of goals to lead the Knights. Jake Hughes had an assist. Chris Barr was credited with 11 saves in goal for the Knights.

Girls
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 17, BAYARD RUSTIN 1
On a day that saw 13 plays contribute to the scoring, Devon Mela had a seven-point game, contributing two goals and five assists. Katy Lehman added two goals and one assist while Marina Schriner and Laura Kwasnoski each contributed a pair of goals. Taylor Campbell had a goal and an assist. Contributing single goals were Kate Keller, Camille Aspite, Lauren D’Amelia, Aubrey Deon, Megan Haggerty, Makena Hanson, Claire Jarema and Anna Lehman.
Rock North goalie Margaret D’Auria had seven saves.
AGNES IRWIN 20, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 15
Agnes Irwin opened up a 12-4 halftime lead, but the Bucks battled back, outscoring their hosts 11-8 in the second half.
“With a halftime score of 12-4 and Agnes Irwin dominating on draw controls, it seemed over,” coach Tara Schmucker said. “But with a late surge in the second half, West never gave up and continued to close the 10-goal gap.
“I am proud of them for playing to the very end. If we had possession more and went after draws like they did toward the end, it would have been a different game.”
Bryn Boylan (four goals, one assist) led the Bucks with a five-point game while Elena Romesburg (three goals, one assist) and Jacq Fitzgerald (four goals) both had four-point games. Sarah Gebre, Amanda Gundlach, Meghan Tillger and Jess Kloss each added one goal. Tillger and Kloss both also had one assist. Elle Ueland had two assists to close out the scoring for the Bucks.
West goalie Molly Naylor was credited with six saves.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 16, NESHAMINY 9 (Friday, May 2)
Anna Lehman (four goals) and Devon Mela (three goals, one assist) led the Indians with four-point games in Friday’s win over the Redskins. Claire Jarema added a hat trick, and Katy Lehman had a goal and two assists. Marina Schreiner contributed two goals. Scoring single goals were Makena Hanson and Laura Kwasnoski while Kate Keller Aubrey Deon and Taylor Campbell each had an assist.
Rock North goalie Margaret D’Auria had 10 saves.
