METHACTON 2, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0
The Warriors took a 1-0 lead into halftime and added an insurance goal late while the Patriots (6-1) could not find the back of the net and suffered their first loss of the season.
“Give Methacton credit – they were the better team today,” coach Mike Gorni said. “It was probably a pretty even game (between the two goals).
“The bottom line is – not taking anything away from them, I don’t feel like we played a very good game today compared to what we’ve been playing, and I think we’re a bit tired with three games every week, but it is what it is. Everyone has those schedules.”
