#13 NORTH PENN 4, #20 PERKIOMEN VALLEY 1
The Knights dominated play statistically, holding a 51-14 advantage in shots, but when Perk Valley’s Charlie Murphy scored a power play goal 10:30 into the final period, the Knights led by just a 2-1 score.
Fifty-five seconds later, Josh Kaufhold (Max Levenberg assist) found the net with an insurance goal for the Knights, and in the closing seconds, Kevin Braeunle’s power play goal with a George Boyle assist gave the Knights their final margin of victory.
Earlier, Tyler Greenstein put the Knights on the scoreboard 13:55 into the first period, using assists from Andrew Galetta and Nathan Oh. Oh scored the only goal of the second period with an assist from Corey Stouffer.
Goalie Caleb Floyd turned away 13 of 14 shots he faced in a winning effort. PV goalie Hunter Thomas kept his team in it with 47 saves.
North Penn will face fourth-seeded William Tennent in a second round game on Wednesday at Bucks County Ice at 7:10 p.m.

Roarty turned a John Saxton pass into a goal that made it a 3-2 game at the 13:04 mark of the period. It would be the Tigers last hurrah as the Rams answered with a goal 34 seconds later, marking the beginning of a 9-0 tear to close out the game.

#15 KENNETT 8, #10 PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 4
The Colonials erupted for three goals in the second period, erasing a 1-0 Kennett lead after one period, and they took a 3-2 advantage into the final period. The third period belonged to Kennett as the duo of Ryan Ganly and Ryan Johnson proved to be double trouble, exploding for five unanswered goals to put their team on top 7-3. A short-handed goal by Chris Zawislak (Nate Slowik assist) broke Kennett’s run, but Thomas Halsted got that back when he scored an empty net goal in the final minute.
In the second period, Zawislak – who finished with the hat trick – scored on a power play with assists from Luke Brzozowski and Ben Lubas to knot the score 1-1 4:17 into the period. Ganly answered with a goal for Kennett, but Zawislak’s second power play goal of the period – again with an assist from Brzozowski – tied things up again. Brzozowski’s unassisted goal gave the Colonials a 3-2 lead after three.
Kennett held a lopsided 49-20 advantage in shots, but that was negated by the 41-save effort of PW goalie Cole Shula. Kennett’s Eric Eisel earned the win in goal, turning away 16 of 20 shots he faced.
Kennett will take on seventh-seeded Lower Merion at Skatium on Wednesday at 8:45 p.m.

Harriton opened up a 3-0 lead when Alex Triester scored 14:28 into the opening period, and the 13th-seeded Rams led from wire to wire.
Matt Wilson put the Trojans on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal in the closing seconds of the opening period to make it a 3-1 game, and it was a one-goal game after Jagger Doll (Sean Garry assist) scored 2:51 into the second period. Less than a minute later Jonah Remer found the net to give Harriton a two-goal lead, and Sam Kirby’s unassisted goal sent the Rams into the final period with a 5-2 advantage.
Wilson scored his second goal of the game 4:36 into the third period to pull the Trojans to within one, but that’s as close as they would get the rest of the way.
Alex Krauss turned away 15 shots in goal for the Rams, who held a 39-18 advantage in shots. Jake Modelevsky was credited with 32 saves between the pipes for the Trojans.

#7 ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 3, ARCHBISHOP WOOD 1
The Patriots did what few teams have been able to do this season – they stymied the Vikings’ high-powered offense. Jacob George’s effort in goal had something to do with that as he turned away 35 of 36 Viking shots to earn the win between the pipes.
The Vikings took an early 1-0 lead when Thomas Hill – using Declan Cole and Tim Cordero assists – scored 5:14 into the opening period. That lead held until Matthew Strofe connected on a power play goal with less than two minutes remaining, knotting the score 1-1 heading into the second period.
Ian Myers broke the tie with a goal 2:49 into the second period, and that 2-1 lead stood until Myers found the net on a power play goal in the closing seconds of the game.
Wood goalie Joseph Danig turned away 35 of 38 shots he faced in a contest that saw Carroll hold a 38-36 advantage in shots.
Archbishop Carroll will face second-seeded Holy Ghost Prep at Grundy on Wednesday.
