National Conference

NESHAMINY 3, ABINGTON 1
Senior midfielder Fran Donato scored a pair of goals Friday, the game-winner late in the first half and the only goal of the second half, as Neshaminy remained unbeaten in SOL National play.
Neshaminy took the lead in the opening 21 seconds when junior foward Gabby Farrell scored off a low shot that landed inside the far post. Junior midfielder Alyssa Antonelly assisted on Farrell's score.
The Lady Ghosts tied the score at 1-1 when Maddie Doyle scored at 3:58 off junior defender Toni Washington's long throw-in.
But then Donato scored at 33:24, assisted by senior midfielder Amy Mandia, and later added an insurance marker at 52:28 from Farrell.
For Abington (0-3, 0-2 SOL), goalkeeper Destiny Walters made 20 saves, and senior and tri-captain Gabby Nolan turned in a strong performance at center midfielder.
Neshaminy goalkeeper Victoria Smith recorded four saves and earned the victory.
Neshaminy (2-1, 2-0 SOL) will travel to William Tennent Tuesday for a game with a 7 p.m. start. The Ghosts' next match is Tuesday afternoon at Council Rock South.

PENNSBURY 2, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 0
In a battle of unbeatens, the Falcons (3-0, 2-0 SOL) remained undefeated this season with a 2-0 victory Friday over the Indians.
The two teams were locked in a scoreless tie at halftime. Junior Jadyn Peto put the Falcons on the scoreboard in the 48th minutes from a Riley Rudd (sophomore) corner. Sophomore Caroline Foley added a goal in the 55th minute off of a direct kick about 25 yards out. Nancy Santiago had three saves in the shutout.
The Falcons' next match is Tuesday afternoon against Bensalem. Playing three matches in four days, including back-to-back, the Indians(1-1-1, 0-1-1 SOL) host a non-league contest Saturday morning against Haverford before resuming SOL National action Tuesday afternoon at Harry S Truman.

WILLIAM TENNENT 5, HARRY S TRUMAN 3
The Panthers overcame three goals by Truman's Amanda McElhare to earn their first win in the SOL National.
Tennent took a 2-0 lead on goals by Cheyenne Wherrity and Nicole Baldassarre. McElhare got her first goal of the game in the 30th minute to cut the deficit in half. Then Shea Conway and Alyssa Christianson got back-to-back goals before halftime to put the Panthers on top 4-1.
McElhare scored her second goal of the contest, getting the Tigers back within two goals, 4-2. Leah Keyser of Tennent scored in about the 60th minute to restore Tennent's lead to three goals. McElhare finished off her hat trick late in the game.
The Panthers (2-1-1, 1-0-1 SOL) will wrap up three matches four days, including back-to-back games with a non-league contest Saturday morning hosting St. Hubert's.
The Tigers (0-3, 0-2) will resume action Tuesday hosting Council Rock North.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH @ BENSALEM, POSTPONED

Bensalem head coach Lew Mladjen said the match Friday between the Owls and Golden Hawks was postponed and will be rescheduled for a date and time to be determined.
Next on the schedule, the Hawks (3-0, 1-0 SOL) will host Abington on Tuesday afternoon.
The Owls (0-3, 0-1 SOL) will travel to Pennsbury, also on Tuesday afternoon.

Continental Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2, NORTH PENN 1
In a battle of early-season unbeatens, Danielle DeMichael's goal at the 69-minute mark helped the Patriots remain undefeated and knock the Maidens from those ranks.
East's Kate Schlotter assisted on the game-winning goal.
North Penn (2-1, 1-1 SOL) had tied the game at 1 in the 30th minute on a goal by Hannah Alexander.
Earlier, Kristin Murphy had scored for East in the 15th minute with an assist from Emma LiVolsi.
After the match, East head coach Paul Eisold had compliments for both teams, including East junior defender Paige Weiss and junior midfielder Maddie Myrtetus.
"Weiss and Myrtetus played tough defensively, and (senior goalkeeper) Lauren Burrell controlled the box in goal," Eisold said. "North Penn played very well controlling play by changing the point of attack. North Penn was well-prepared."
Burrell had three saves, and North Penn senior goalkeeper Laura Leonard recorded 11 saves.
The Maidens' next match is Tuesday evening at Quakertown.
Completing three matches in four days, the Patriots (2-0-1, 1-0-1 SOL) also will conclude back-to-back matchups by traveling Saturday to West Chester Henderson, rescheduled from last Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 2, HATBORO-HORSHAM 0
The Titans got goals from sophomore forward Kylie Walsh and Mackenzie Ehresman, and goalkeeper Sophia Boggs earned the shutout.
Kate Neil assisted on Walsh's goal, and Ehresman scored unassisted.
The Hatters (2-2, 0-2 SOL) return home to face Central Bucks East on Tuesday evening.
The Titans (2-1, 1-1 SOL) will travel next to Pennridge for a Tuesday evening matchup.

SOUDERTON 1, QUAKERTOWN 0
Junior Kristen Perri scored the only goal of the game, as the Indians stayed unbeaten in SOL Continental competition.
Although Souderton outshot Quakertown 22-5, both teams played at a slow pace, with extremely humid conditions, Souderton head coach Chris Felber said.
Coming off back-to-back matches Thursday and Friday, the Panthers (0-2-1, 0-1-1 SOL) will host North Penn on Tuesday evening.
The Indians (2-1, 2-0 SOL) also will play next on Tuesday evening, as they host Central Bucks West.

American Conference

WISSAHICKON 6, UPPER MORELAND 0
The Trojans got two goals each from both Maddie Elwell and Krysta Memis, and Memis also added two assists in the shutout victory.

Meghan Guzewicz opened the scoring at 8:27 after taking a pass from Memis and hitting a rising shot.
Elwell and Memis then alternated scoring the next four goals, with Elwell scoring at 17:06 and 26:37 and Memis scoring at 21:39 and 27.55.
Mary Matthews assisted on Elwell's first goal, and Alyssa Ryan assisted on both of Memis' goals. Talia Abrahams closed out the scoring with an assist from Maddy Foglia.
Wissahickon coach Shannon Franke credited all of her defensive backs for their play, including Matthews, Kirsten Haney and Gabby Unipan--but especially senior captain and defender Anna Chiodo-Ortiz--in holding Upper Moreland without a shot in the contest.
Goalkeepers Keanna Haney and Kara Ciaccio played the first half and second half, respectively, and combined for the shutout.
For Upper Moreland, sophomore goalkeeper Kim Benge recorded 29 saves.
The Bears (0-3, 0-2 SOL) will return to action Tuesday afternoon hosting Upper Dublin.
The Trojans (3-0, 2-0 SOL) also will return to action Tuesday afternoon hosting Plymouth Whitemarsh.

UPPER DUBLIN 5, CHELTENHAM 0
Victoria Hoffner and Paige Lawton scored two goals each, and Brigid Peyton scored one, as the Flying Cardinals won convincingly.
The Cardinals (2-2, 2-0 SOL) next will travel Tuesday afternoon to Upper Moreland.
The Panthers (0-2, 0-2) also will be on the road Tuesday afternoon for a match at Springfield (Montco).

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 5, UPPER MERION 0
The Abbotts combined for three goals, as Nic scored two and Carly scored one, and the Colonials also got tallies from Maddie Berman

and Kirsten Monte in shutting out the Vikings.
The Vikings (1-3, 1-1 SOL) will host Norristown on Tuesday afternoon.
The Colonials (2-0, 2-0 SOL) next will travel Tuesday afternoon to Wissahickon.

SPRINGFIELD (MONTCO) 5, NORRISTOWN 2
Suzette Wolf had a plan.
“Norristown doesn’t have a jayvee, so I wanted to get my jayvee some playing time,” the Spartans’ coach said. “I wanted to go up a few goals early.”
With that in mind, Wolf moved midfielder Katelyn Gillinger to forward, and Gillinger delivered, scoring four goals and allowing Wolf to give her jayvee some playing time.
“She did the job,” Wolf said. “She had one goal – a header on a corner from Caroline Pape.”
Gillinger also contributed an assist while Pape had one goal and two assists. Emily Giempietro and Alyssa Griet each added an assist.
The Spartans (1-1, 1-1 SOL) will host Cheltenham on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles (0-3, 0-2 SOL) resume action Monday with back-to-back matches, hosting a non-league contest vs. Pottstown, then returning to their SOL American schedule Tuesday afternoon at Upper Merion.

QUAKERTOWN 0, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0
The Bucks and Panthers battled to a scoreless tie after 100 minutes. Quakertown keeper Erinne Finlayson and CB West keeper Grace Bendon each made several outstanding saves.  Quakertown was led by Carley Peacher and Because Fox while CB West was led by Shea McCarty and Carmen Telesco.
