The Falcons kept their season alive, eking out the win in a five-set marathon match at PW.
Brooke Burns (19 kills), Elley Torres (18 kills) and Izzy Marinelli (14 kills) all had huge nights at the net. Torres also had two aces and 16 digs while Burns had one ace, one solo block and 18 digs. Marinelli chipped in four digs. Setter Carissa Van Veen dished out 44 assists to go along with five aces, one kill and a team-high 21 digs. Abbie Drewes had 16 digs, one kill and one ace. Ashley Parry had four aces and three digs, and Jada Rice added three kills, one solo block and one dig. Mary Miller had one kill, one dig and two solo blocks.
Pennsbury will travel to eighth-seeded West Chester Rustin on Thursday with the winner earning a state berth.
