COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-23)
The Indians earned a sweep of their neighboring rival in Monday’s Dig Pink match.
“It was a fantastic team effort,” North coach Mike Adams said. “CR South and CR North stepped up their play this time, and it made for a fantastic Dig Pink match to raise awareness and money to find the cure.”
Leading the Indians at the net were Morgan Collito (eight kills, eight digs, three aces), Birdie Ligos (nine kills, seven digs, one ace), Mackenzie Tinner (four kills, three blocks, four digs, one ace) and Dana Bandurick (eight kills, three blocks, four digs). Setters Johanna Batterton (14 assists, one ace, two digs) and Sarah Caola (15 assists, four digs, four aces) both had big nights. Hadley Grundman added three kills, one block and two digs, and Kalein Mealey had four kills, four digs and one block. Maddy Moore had a big night defensively with 11 digs to go along with one ace and three assists. Robbin Smith added one kill and Carrie Kuiken had one dig and one kill.

PENNSBURY 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-13)
Julia Vreeswyk led the Falcons in their sweep of the Panthers, contributing 12 kills, two aces and five digs. Sydney Buell added six kills, four aces and a team-high 11 digs. Karina Knapp had four kills, and Cheyenne Agrio and Jess Leventry both added three. Agrio also had 10 digs. Kiley Buckman had six digs and four service aces. Heather Linker had three digs and two aces.
“Mike Falter has them playing very well,” Tennent coach Brian Basser said. “Both teams played extremely hard, and our team never quits. A great group of hard working girls.”

ABINGTON 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-18)
The Ghosts used a balanced attack in Monday’s sweep of the Lady Panthers. Making important contributions were Grace Whitney (five kills, two blocks, one assist), Hannah Dalton (six kills, one block), Aislin Resurrecion (four kills, one block), Kaylee Goodson, four kills, one block, two aces, six digs), Kaley Ehnow (three kills, one block, one dig) and Harley Hudoka (one kill, two aces, five digs). Setter Vasilia had 21 assists, five aces and five digs.
For the Lady Panthers, Aine Dougherty had three kills, six digs and one ace. Terrica Do led the defense with 10 digs. Mariah Rebitz had three kills and one ace, and Mia Leonard added two kills, two aces and one block. Setter Clare Maus had 10 assists, three blocks and one dig.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-8)
Setters Anna Ritter (10 assists, four aces, three digs) and Emily Lunny (10 assists, three aces) combined for 20 assists in the Patriots’ sweep of the Owls. Morgan Bealey led the defense with 12 digs to go along with two aces. Jenn Krzeminski added a pair of aces, seven kills, five digs and two blocks, and Devon Hall had three aces and five kills. Ysabelle Minschwaner had nine digs, five kills and one ace, and Jess Guillen added six kills and one block. Also contributing were Gina Feliz (one ace, two kills), and Hanna Walentukonis (five kills). Caitlin Kiernan, Julie Byrne, Courtney Woolslayer and Morgan D’Angelo also contributed to the win.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, PENNRIDGE 0
Danielle Rippert led a balanced effort for the Colonials with five aces, eight kills and eight digs. Lauren Coscia also contributed to PW’s strong service game with three aces, six kills and one block. Olivia Carbo had one ace, 12 digs and two assists. Setter Bridget McTamney had 27 assists.
For the Rams, Steph Judkins had nine kills and one ace, and Cait Saalfrank led the defense with 19 digs.

UPPER DUBLIN 3, SOUDERTON 1 (12-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-20)
The Indians rolled to a win in the opening set, but the Flying Cardinals responded by winning the next three.
For the Indians, setter Lauren Hamilton had 24 assists. Talia Watson had 14 digs and four aces. Miranda Baronett (eight kills, seven digs, three aces), Tori Reiner (eight kills, two blocks) and Hannah Fairweather (four kills, six blocks) led the Indians at the net. Haley Novak paced the defense with 17 digs to go along with three kills and three aces. Also contributing were Maria Iervolino (three kills), Monica Miller (two kills), Zoe Kondel (five digs) and Bella Mazzeo (three aces).

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, NESHAMINY 0 (25-18, 25-10, 25-19)
The Titans received contributions from their entire lineup in Monday’s sweep of the Redskins. Megan Manderson had a big night at the service line with six aces to go along with nine kills and seven digs. Libero Morgan McCrory had 26 digs, five aces and two kills. Setters Erica Werner (two aces, 16 assists) and Kelly Danyluk (three aces, three kills, 11 assists) spread the ball around. Jessica Shelton had one kill and seven digs.
"Tonight was a great night for us as a team and we were able to get everyone some playing time,” coach Kurt Godfrey said. “We served really tough tonight and didn't make too many errors on our side of the net.  In this national conference, you have to fight for each win and Neshaminy didn't make it easy for us tonight.  Morgan McCrory was a force tonight on defense.  Megan, Alyssa and Julia seemed to have control of the net all night and it allowed us to dictate the pace of play.
“Although we worked well as a team, we did have some big performances tonight from some girls.  Jessica Shelton stepped up big for us tonight on defense.  She seemed to not only always be in the right spot but seemed to come through in some clutch situations.  She should be really proud of herself tonight! I am so proud of the way our girls rallied together when we were subbing everyone in and out tonight.  Tonight was just a good solid win for our entire team."
Also making significant contributions were Julia Dennis (six kills, two blocks), Lindsay VanFossen (three aces), Meghan Smith (one ace, two digs) and Alyssa Dallmer (two aces, two kills, four blocks).

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-10)
Hatboro-Horsham upped its record to 16-2 overall and 13-2 in conference with a sweep win over Quakertown on Monday night.
Senior outside hitter Holly Owen had seven kills, six aces, three blocks and nine digs. Senior middle hitter Victoria Rapak had five kills, two blocks, and three straight aces to finish the match. Junior outside hitter Katerina Yankanich added four kills, two aces, and three digs. Senior setter Kailey Dittus had 22 kills, three digs, and an ace. Senior defensive specialist MaryKate McKenna had five digs and two aces.
Senior Libero Allison Laucella had a big night on the serving line with 10 aces and an even bigger night with 13 digs including her fourth of the night being the 1000th milestone career varsity dig.
Hatboro-Horsham takes on North Penn away on Friday for their next conference match.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-4, 25-14, 25-14)
Setter Kayla King led the Bucks’ strong service game with 10 aces to go along with two kills, 15 assists and 10 digs. Katie Hudson had nine kills and two digs. Kailey Prall led the Bucks with 13 digs to go along with two aces. Mackenzie Brooks had seven kills and six digs, and Tenley Mileski added six aces and six digs. April Neeld had five aces and one kill, and Dana Miller had four kills and one dig.

Saturday, Oct. 8
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, LOWER MERION 0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-20)
The Bucks rolled to a non-league sweep of the Aces on Saturday. Katie Hudson had a big day at the net with 18 kills and two blocks to go along with eight digs. Setter Kayla King had 42 assists and also had two aces, one kill and 10 digs. April Neeld (eight kills, one ace, two blocks), Casey Taylor (six kills, one block, four digs) and Mackenzie Brooks (five kills, two aces, nine digs) made important contributions in supporting roles. Kailey Prall led the defense with 16 digs.
