QUAKERTOWN 3, WISSAHICKON 0 (26-24, 25-16, 25-20)

Quakertown celebrated Senior Night with a sweep of the visiting Trojans.
Senior Kayla Sicher led the way offensively with 10 kills and five digs. The Panthers received lots of defensive contributions from seniors Erica Gildea (2 aces, 15 digs), Carissa Ievers (9 digs, 1 kill, 1 ace) and Katelyn Martinez (6 digs).
Setter Anna Skogen contributed 26 assists, one kill, four aces and four digs. Cece Bates added seven kills and two digs while Grace White had six kills, seven blocks and one ace.
Also contributing were Ellie White (3 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs), Mia Handschumacher (1 block), Kiele Magalengo (2 kills) and Colleen Gallagher (3 digs).
Quakertown (3-14, 1-8 SOL) will travel to Souderton on Tuesday (6 pm), and Wissahickon (5-9, 2-7) will host Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday.

SOUDERTON 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 0 (25-20, 25-10, 25-16)
In a battle of the Indians, it was the host Indians rolling to a sweep of their visitors.
Kay Guessford (10 kills, 2 aces, 5 digs) and Teya McConaha (9 kills, 1 ace, 3 digs, 1 block) led Souderton at the net. Alli Sauerwald added three kills, two blocks and two aces. Setter Grace Boyd had 16 assists, four digs and one kill. Alexa Mazzeo led the defense with 17 digs, one kill, two aces and two assists. Margaret Donnelly contributed eight assists, five aces and two digs.
Souderton (9-5, 4-4 SOL) will host Quakertown on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Council Rock North will host Council Rock South on Tuesday (6 pm).

PENNRIDGE 3, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 0
The Lady Rams travelled to Lansdale Catholic on Monday and were able to secure another victory to move their season record to 8-6 (6-2 conference).
“It was a complete team effort by the Lady Rams, who imposed their will from the service line throughout the match,” coach Brandon Johnsons said. “The Rams were able to fight through illness and injury to pick up the win, with multiple players stepping up to help secure the victory.
“Junior Right Side hitter Brooke Alexander came up big in the match after being called in due to injury, with several big kills to push the Rams over the top in sets two and three. Outside hitters Darby Nichols and Caitlyn Kuntz helped the Rams get ahead early in each set, but the Rams received big offensive contributions from junior middle blockers Emma Casey and Nikki Rindone. Senior Setter Paige Lipp chipped in on the night, leading the Rams to a critical third set victory leading the offense in the victory.”
Pennridge hosts conference foe Central Bucks East on Tuesday night.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, MOUNT ST. JOSEPH 1
Edan Kauer led a balanced Golden Hawk effort in Monday’s non-league win, finishing with 12 kills, three aces, seven digs and one block.
Olivia De Saro added seven kills and one block, and Shani Sun had four kills, two aces and five digs. Nala Kauer had four kills and one dig, and Gracie De Saro also contributed at the net with four blocks and one kill while Rachael Buchnik had three blocks and one kill. Setter Ashlyn Dinan had 23 assists and five digs. Gina Caraccio had five assists and one kill. Lindsey Korn led the defense with 12 digs and two aces. Cadence Palmer had three digs.
Council Rock South (14-2, 9-0 SOL) will travel to Council Rock North on Tuesday (6 pm).

The Owls earned a sweep of the Eagles in a non-league match.
“Another team win today,” coach Violet DiMichele said. “We were missing our varsity libero today and needed our JV libero (Dene (Howe) to step up and she killed it. This was a big game for us to win and she was a huge help getting us this win today.”
Howe turned in a standout defensive effort, finishing with 14 digs. Ashley Tarr had a huge day, contributing 14 kills and four digs.

“Ashley had herself a game today,” DiMichele said. “She was hungry for the ball all game long and just kept swinging getting herself 14 kills.”
Talia DiMichele had 16 assists, five aces and two kills. Gianna Griffis added six kills, five digs and two aces, and Rylee Haer had five aces and three kills.

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-22)
Tennent won Saturday’s non-league battle of the Panthers.
For Quakertown, setter Anna Skogen had 20 assists, one ace, one block and seven digs. Erica Gildea lead the defense with 14 digs to go along with two aces and one assist.
