COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, SUN VALLEY 0 (25-18, 25-20, 26-24)
Coach Mike Adams described his team’s sweeps of Penncrest and Sun Valley as “fantastic team efforts.”
“So many players contributed to a really balanced offense,” the Indians’ coach said. “The seniors really led the way in the (Sun Valley) match.”
In the Indians’ sweep of Penncrest senior Morgan Collito (10 kills, 10 digs, four aces), Hadley Grundman (10 kills, three blocks) and Birdie Ligos (nine kills, two aces, four digs, one block) led the way at the net. Setters Johanna Batterton (17 assists, two aces, two digs) and Sarah Caola (14 assists, four digs, two aces, one kill) both turned in strong performances. Junior libero Maddy Moore led the defense with 13 digs and four assists. Also making important contributions were Mackenzie Tinner (four kills, one block, five digs), Dana Bandurick (four kills, two digs, one block), Kalein Mealey (one kill, two digs) and Alyssa Coats (one ace).
In the sweep of Sun Valley seniors Collito (11 kills, 14 digs, one ace, one block), Ligos (nine kills, 14 digs), Batterton (16 assists, one ace, three digs, one kill) and Grundman (nine kills, one block, one assist) led the way. Also contributing were Tinner (three kills, one block, two digs, one ace), Bandurick (three kills, two digs, one block), Mealey (two kills, four digs), Grace Schweizer (two digs), Caola (14 assists, three digs, one ace) and Moore (11 digs, three assists, two aces).

QUAKERTOWN 3, NORRISTOWN 1

Friday, Oct. 14
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, PENNRIDGE 0 (25-12, 25-11, 26-24)
Leading the way in the Bucks’ sweep of the Rams were Katie Hudson (16 kills, 10 digs, two aces, one block) and Kayla King (27 assists, three kills, one ace, 18 digs). April Neeld added six kills, one ace, one block, four digs. Kailey Prall led the defense with 28 digs and one kill. Mackenzie Brooks added five aces and five digs.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-6)
The Colonials received a strong service game in their sweep of the Lady Panthers. Bridget McTamney (four aces, 23 assists), Danielle Rippert (two aces, 12 kills, 14 digs), Lily Acquaviva (four aces, three kills, 11 digs) and Megan Peuser (three aces, three kills) all made important contributions.
For the Lady Panthers, Aine Dougherty had four kills and five digs, and Mia Leonard had three kills, one ace, one dig and one block. Mariah Rebitz led the defense with nine digs.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, NESHAMINY 0 (25-13, 25-7, 25-12)
Morgan Collito (seven kills, one ace, two digs), Dana Bandurick (six kills, three digs) and Hadley Grundman (five kills, two blocks, one dig) led the Indians at the net. Birdie Ligos added three kills, one ace and one dig, Kalein Mealey had two kills and Alyssa Coats contributed two kills, five aces and two digs. Also contributing were Carrie Kuiken (one kill, three aces, two digs), Maddy Moore (six digs, two aces), Grace Schweizer (five digs) and Mackenzie Tinner (one dig, two aces).

SOUDERTON 3, WISSAHICKON (25-11, 25-12, 25-8)
Lauren Hamilton handed out 22 assists in the Indians’ sweep of the Trojans. Talia Watson led the Indians’ service game with seven aces. Maria Iervolino had a team-high nine kills, Haley Novak added six kills while Molly McCarthy and Zoe Kondel each had four kills. Bella Mazzeo led the defense with six digs.
Souderton improved to 11-7 overall (10-6 SOL).

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1
Leading the Golden Hawks were Hannah Sullivan with seven kills, Natalie Kazokas with six kills and Hannah Devlin with 19 assists.
