SOL National Conference

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0
The Golden Hawks put the finishing touches on a perfect conference season, earning a sweep of the visiting Tigers.

Olivia De Saro led a balanced attack with six kills, two digs and four aces while Rachael Buchnik had five kills and one ace. Also contributing were Halie Wilson (3 digs, 3 aces), Nala Kauer (3 kills), Edan Kauer (1 kill, 2 aces), Kristina Shumakov (2 kills), Rahee Patel (2 kills), Yana Kotlyarenko (1 kill), Cassidy Melnick (2 aces), Rachel Khelmer (3 assists) and Ashlyn Dinan (5 assists, 2 aces).
Council Rock South closed out its regular season with a 16-2 record overall. Harry S Truman (1-16, 0-12) will host Renaissance Charter School in a non-league match on Thursday.

SOL Continental Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, QUAKERTOWN 1 (25-14, 21-25, 25-21, 27-25)
The Patriots ended their conference schedule with an emotional win on the road over Quakertown
As it's been for most of the season, the Patriots were led by their senior captain, outside hitter Catie Tomlinson, who filled up the stat sheet with 15 kills, 15 digs, four aces and one block. Fellow senior captain setter Emily Arslan was a key to Tomlinson’s success by registering 16 assists, four digs and one ace. The juniors and sophomores on the squad got in on the action on both defense (Abi Zmuda with 17 digs, three kills, three assists and three timely aces and Arya Haridas with six digs and two aces) and offense (Sophia Schwartz with 5 kills and 1 block, Regina Mathur with 11 digs, 3 kills and 1 ace, Mia Rivera and Ava Barnum both with 2 kills). Not to be outdone by the upperclassmen, the Fab Three Freshmen of Ali Minacci (5 kills and 6 blocks), Summer Darling (3 kills and 1 block) and Brynne Vonder Schmalz (15 assists, 3 aces and 3 digs) made critical contributions throughout the match.

For the Panthers, Grace White had a big night, finishing with 16 kills, three blocks, two aces and 14 digs. Setter Genevieve Clark had 29 assists and seven digs. Cece Bates contributed nine kills, 13 digs and one block while Ellie White had three kills, two blocks and one ace. Mia Handschumacher added four kills and three digs.
Central Bucks East (2-16, 2-10 SOL) will host Villa Joseph Marie in a non-league match Thursday. Quakertown closed out its season with a 4-14 record (2-10 SOL).

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, SOUDERTON 1 (20-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-12)
The Bucks clinched a share of the conference title with Tuesday’s win over the Indians.
Alexis Barklage and Rachel Hu proved to be double trouble for the Indians. Barklage led the Bucks at the net with 21 kills and three digs while Hu added 14 kills, three aces, two assists and 20 digs. Kya Lunch had seven kills. Erin Ferello (18 assists, 4 aces) and Elisa Kremser (20 assists, 1 block, 3 digs) shared setting duties. Coming up big defensively were Alexa Lee (18 digs, 3 aces), Mairead Donaher (12 digs) and Amber Woodring (9 digs, 2 aces). Also contributing were Hollis Walton (2 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks) and Maggie Meglio (2 kills, 1 ace, 1 block).
For the Indians, Kay Guessford led the way at the net with 13 kills, one ace and eight digs. McKenna Murawski added nine kills, one ace, one assist, 11 digs and one block. Setter Margaret Donnelly had 25 assists, one ace, four digs and one block. Lauren Vince (5 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs) and Zoe Folk (1 kill, 1 assist, 11 digs) also contributed.
Central Bucks West (13-3, 11-1) will host New Hope-Solebury in a non-league match Thursday, and Souderton closed out the regular season with an 11-9 record overall, 6-6 in the SOL.

SOL American Conference

UPPER DUBLIN 3, NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 1
Brooke Kinsley had a big night for the Cardinals in Tuesday’s regular season finale, finishing with 17 kills, 20 digs and three aces.
Alisa Zeng added 20 digs, one kill three aces and two assists, and Janis Andrulonis had nine kills, one ace, one assist, two digs and two blocks. Setter Kaitlyn Small had 35 assists, three kills, 12 digs and three blocks. Also contributing were Natalie Marshall (4 kills, 2 digs, 2 blocks), Reese Mackey (3 kills, 1 ace, 1 assist, 10 digs) and Shanley Joyce (5 kills, 1 dig, 6 blocks).
Upper Dublin closed out its season with a 14-6 record overall. The Cardinals were 9-3 in conference play, finishing second behind undefeated conference champ Plymouth Whitemarsh. New Hope-Solebury (13-6, 6-6) will travel to Central Bucks West on Thursday for a non-league match.

Monday, Oct. 16
Non-league

BENSALEM 3, NAZARETH 0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-15)

The Owls rolled to a sweep in Monday’s non-league match.
Talia DiMichele handed out 20 assists and had another strong serving game with seven aces. Ashley Tarr led the offense with 10 kills and one ace. Mackenzie Kramer added five kills and four aces, and Gunjan Patel had five kills and two aces. Allie Runowski added three kills and two aces for the Owls.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, VILLA JOSEPH MARIE 0
The Golden Hawks used a balanced team effort in their non-league sweep of the Jems.

Olivia De Saro’s eight kills led the Hawks. Nala Kauer had six kills, seven digs and one block. Setters Ashlyn Dinan (12 assists, 4 digs, 2 aces) and Rachel Khelmer (13 assists, 2 aces) spread the ball around. Edan Kauer added six digs and five kills while Cassidy Melnick had seven digs. Rachel Buchnik had five aces and two kills. Also contributing were (Yana Kotlyarenko (3 kills), Kristina Shumakov (3 blocks, 2 kills) and Cadence Palmer (3 digs).
