SOL National Conference

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 1
The Golden Hawks remained perfect in conference play, notching their 11th win without a loss on Tuesday.
Gracie De Saro’s 14 kills led a potent Rock South attack while Avery Vaughan added 12 kills. Edan Kauer (10 kills, 7 digs, 3 aces) and Nala Kauer (8 kills, 6 digs, 5 aces) also made their presence felt at the net. Setter Gina Caraccio handed out 46 assists and also had two kills and one ace. Lindsey Korn led the defense with 17 digs, two aces and two kills. Cadence Palmer added 12 digs, and Shani Sun had nine digs. Olivia De Saro contributed four kills.
Council Rock South (17-2, 11-0 SOL) will travel to Harry S Truman on Thursday, and William Tennent (13-7, 6-5) will host George Washington in a non-league match Wednesday.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-23, 25-3, 25-12)
The Indians rolled to a sweep in the final home match for seniors Sophie Lentz, Ainsley Jordan and Ashley Smith.
“In true fashion, these seniors led the team to this win,” coach Joe Schweitzer said.
Jordan led the way with 15 kills, four blocks and two aces. Lentz chipped in with four kills and five aces while Smith had three kills and one ace. Sophomore setter Sarah McCafferty dished out 20 assists and added seven aces.
Council Rock North (6-9, 4-6 SOL) will travel to Bensalem on Thursday, and Harry S Truman (1-13, 0-10) will host Council Rock South Thursday.

SOL Continental Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, SOUDERTON 2 (16-25, 16-25, 26-24, 25-19, 15-10)
The Titans closed out their season with a gutsy come-from-behind win in five sets over the visiting Indians.
"Tonight our 2022 season came to an end,” South coach Kurt Godfrey said. “It was such an exciting night for our seniors. Our season hasn't been what we thought it would be, but our seniors never let anyone give up.  We battled through insane illnesses and injuries, more than a few close but heartbreaking losses, and pulled out a few really nice wins.
"I am going to miss these seniors, and I wish they had a chance to play in a few more matches.  Our program will miss each and every one of them, and I hope they come back to visit often.  That's what being a volleyball family is all about... you love the time you spend together and always look forward to the next time you see them.”
Senior outside hitter Breckyn Loynd was impressive in her final high school contest, leading the Titans with 23 kills and 22 digs in a stellar outing. Senior Katie Canzanese also had a big night, finishing with 19 kills, 15 digs and one ace. Senior libero Julia Daniele led the defense with 21 digs and also had five aces and one kill. Senior defensive specialist Tara Durkin added 12 digs and one ace. Sophomore setter Pola Sawicka dished out 33 assists and also had four kills and two aces.
For the Indians, Teya McConaha (12 kills, 1 ace, 2 digs, 3 blocks), McKenna Murawski (10 kills, 1 ace, 14 digs, 1 block) and Kay Guessford (11 kills, 4 aces, 8 digs) led the way at the net. Alexa Mazzeos’s 23 digs led the defense. Setter Grace Boyd had 22 assists, four digs and one kill.
Central Bucks South closed out its season with a 4-16 record. The Titans were 3-9 in league play. Souderton (12-7, 6-5 SOL) will host Central Bucks West on Thursday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, PENNRIDGE 1 (25-23, 17-25, 25-23, 25-8)
The Bucks celebrated Senior Night with a win over the visiting Rams.
Alexis Barklage had another big night for the Bucks, contributing 14 kills, two aces and two digs. Also contributing at the net were Mackenzie Lund (6 kills, 4 aces, 3 blocks, 6 digs, 1 assist), Rachel Hu (8 kills, 4 aces, 1 block, 12 digs) and Presley Adams (4 kills, 3 aces, 5 digs, 1 assist). Sharing setting duties were Elisa Kremser (15 assists, 3 blocks, 1 dig) and Erin Ferello (18 assists, 4 digs, 2 aces).  Alexa Lee contributed 11 digs and one ace while Amber Woodring had seven digs and one ace. Also making important contributions were Hollis Walton (3 kills), Sarah Miller (2 kills, 1 block) and Caroline Taylor (5 digs, 1 kill, 1 assist).
Central Bucks West (13-4, 8-3) will be on the road at Souderton on Thursday, and Pennridge (8-9, 6-5) will host North Penn on Thursday.

NORTH PENN 3, QUAKERTOWN 1 (25-16, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22)
The Knights dropped the first set of Tuesday’s match but rallied to win the next three to earn the win.
For the visiting Panthers, Erica Gildea led the defense with 20 digs and also had two assists and one ace. Colleen Gallagher added 11 digs while Katelyn Martinez had eight digs and one ace. Kayla Sicher led the Panthers’ attack with seven kills, eight digs and one ace. Cece Bates added five kills, two aces and three digs while Grace White had four kills, one block, one ace and one dig. Also contributing were Ellie White (3 kills, 2 blocks, 1 ace), Anna Skogen (4 assists, 1 kill, 1 block, 5 digs), Mia Handschumacher (2 kills, 1 block, 5 digs), Kiele Magalengo (1 block), Ella Banas (1 dig) and Nicole Muriel (1 dig).
North Penn (10-9, 6-5 SOL) will travel to Pennridge on Thursday, and Quakertown (3-16, 1-10) will be on the road at Central Bucks East.

SOL American Conference

ABINGTON 3, CHELTENHAM 0
The Ghosts honored the team’s seniors and then swept their match with the visiting Lady Panthers.
Kenya Lucas led the attack with 12 kills while Shayla Moody added eight kills. Ashley Rice handed out 27 assists, and Tori Camacho contributed five digs.
Abington (15-3, 9-3 SOL) will host Pennsbury in a non-league match Thursday. Cheltenham closed out its season with an 0-13 record.
