SOL National Conference

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0
The Golden Hawks wrapped up a perfect conference season with a sweep of the Tigers in a match that featured contributions from their entire lineup.
Cadence Palmer led a strong service game with nine aces to go along with five digs. Lindsey Korn contributed seven aces. Avery Vaughan and Nala Kauer both had six kills to lead a balanced attack. Kauer also had two digs. Rachel Khelmer added five aces and five assists. Contributing six assists each were Gina Caraccio and Ashlyn Dinan.
Also contributing were Edan Kauer (2 aces, 2 kills), Olivia De Saro (3 aces, 1 kill), Shani Sun (1 ace, 3 kills), Dara Botnick (2 kills), Sara Gannon (1 kill), Yana Kotlyarenko (1 kill), Cassidy Melnick (2 aces) and Gracie DeSaro (1 ace, 1 kill).
Council Rock South closed out its regular season with a perfect 12-0 record in conference play (18-2 overall). Harry S Truman was 1-15 overall (0-12 SOL).

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, NESHAMINY 1 (22-25, 29-27, 25-15, 25-16)
The Panthers – still riding the emotions of a pre-match Senior Night celebration - dropped the opening set but won a grueling second set and then rolled to wins in the next two.  
“The Panthers celebrated the careers - which still have some matches in them - of our six seniors: Allyson Brown, Allie Carlino, Liv Clee, Alyssa Lewicki, Charlotte Reeves and Georgie Thorpe,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said. “These seniors have been simply amazing for our program. They aren’t only good volleyball players, they are outstanding young ladies and just overall great people. We are really happy we still have some time on the court remaining with them.”
Setter Izzy Goebel dished out 35 assists and also had 14 digs and four aces. Addy Criss led the defense with 18 digs. The Panthers’ attack was led by Lauren Marsland (10 kills, 8 digs), Georgie Thorpe (10 kills) and Charlotte Reeves (8 kills).
William Tennent (15-7, 7-5 SOL) will close out its regular season at Wissahickon on Friday. Neshaminy closed out its season with an 8-13 record overall (3-9 SOL).

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, BENSALEM 0

Wednesday, Oct. 19
PENNSBURY 3, NESHAMINY 1 (25-16, 25-10, 22-25, 25-22)

The Falcons bested the Redskins in four sets.  Kiersten Adair led the Falcons with 10 kills, eight digs and one block.  Jocelyn Fang had eight kills and one dig.  Kiera Rogan had three kills, two service aces and 12 digs.  Also contributing for the Falcons were Claire MacElroy (2 kills, 2 blocks) and Natalie Johnson (2 kills, 1 dig, 3 blocks). Ainsley Dysart and Kira Sendlock both had two kills.  Caroline Croteau led the Falcons in service aces with four along with six assists and five digs.  Faith Szumigala had one ace, 16 assists and five digs.   Brynn Magee led the Falcons defense with 17 digs and one ace.  Sami Love contributed with three digs and Stephanie Adamousky contributed with one ace and two digs.  

SOL Continental Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-14)
The Patriots clinched sole possession of the conference crown with their sweep of the visiting Panthers.
Maddy Ware’s six kills led a balanced attack. She also had eight digs and two aces. Kate Malobisky added 10 digs and five kills, and Megan Colbert had nine digs, one kill and two aces. Sam Sharp contributed five digs, five kills, one block and one ace. Setter Katie Monaghan finished with eight digs, one kill, 12 assists and seven aces. Mia Mettille had five assists, one dig and one ace, and Steph Bahner chipped in with one block, two digs and four kills. Also making contributions were Aimee Wolf (2 blocks, 2 kills) and Arya Haridas (3 digs, 1 ace).
For the Panthers, Anna Skogen filled a stat sheet with six assists, one kill, one ace, one block and five digs. Erica Gildea led the defense with 11 digs. Grace White (1 kill, 1 ace, 1 block), Mia Handschumacher (2 kills, 2 digs), Cariss Ievers (1 assist), Cece Bates (1 kill, 1 ace), Katelyn Martinez (2 digs), Kayla Sicher (2 kills, 1 ace, 4 digs) and Colleen Gallagher (1 ace, 1 dig) also contributed.
Central Bucks East closed out its regular season with a 12-7 record. They were 10-2 in conference play. Quakertown closed out its season with a 3-17 record (1-11 SOL).

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, SOUDERTON 0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-20)
The visiting Bucks closed out the regular season in impressive fashion, earning a sweep of the Indians.
Rachel Hu (12 kills, 17 digs) made an impact all over the court, and Alexis Barklage also had a big night at the net with 12 kills and one block. Hollis Walton added six kills, one block, one assist and two digs. Alexa Lee contributed five aces and nine digs. Caroline Taylor was a force on defense, finishing with 16 digs and one assist. Erin Ferello (16 assists, 2 aces, 9 digs) and Elisa Kremser (15 assists, 2 digs) shared setting duties. Amber Woodring had nine digs and one ace. Presley Adams (2 kills, 3 digs, 1 block), and Mackenzie Lund (1 kills, 1 ace, 1 block) also contributed.
For the Indians, Teya McConaha had six kills, three blocks and two digs, and McKenna Murawski added four kills and eight digs. Alexa Mazzeo led the defense with 14 digs to go along with two assists. Grace Boyd had six assists, one ace and one dig.
Central Bucks West closed out its regular season with a 14-4 record overall (9-3 SOL) while the Indians were 12-8 overall (6-6 SOL).

SOL American Conference

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, CHELTENHAM 0

UPPER DUBLIN 3, NEW HOPE-SOLEBURY 2

Non-league

ABINGTON 3, PENNSBURY 1  (25-20, 25-22, 17-25, 25-21)
The Ghosts earned a hard-fought non-league win over the visiting Falcons, who struggled in front of the Ghosts’ raucous home crowd.
“It was a great match with playoff intensity,” Abington coach Dan Marsh said, going on to note the key to the win. “Staying in the moment and not letting mistakes become bigger. They tested us, but we responded.”
The Ghosts were led by the 19-kill effort of Kenya Lucas while Sasha Moody added 11 kills. Setter Mary Carter had 37 assists, and libero Iris Winegrad had 10 digs.
Kiersten Adair led the Falcons with 14 kills and four digs.  Brigitte Burns guided the Falcons to a strong third set comeback with 10 kills and 4 digs.  Also contributing for the Falcons were Jocelyn Fang (4 kills, 3 blocks), Natalie Johnson (3 kills, 3 blocks), Kiera Rogan (3 kills, 3 digs),  Ainsley Dysart (3 kills, 1 dig) Clarie MacElroy (2 kills, 5 blocks) and Stephanie Adamousky (2 aces, 2 digs).

Splitting setting duties were Faith Szumigala (18 assists, 1 ace 4 digs) and Caroline Croteau (17 assists, 1 kill, 3 digs). Brynn Magee led the Falcons defense with 13 digs to go along with two assists and one kill.
Abington (16-3, 9-3 SOL) and Pennsbury (13-4, 10-2) will return to action next week in the District One 4A Tournament.  

Wednesday, Oct. 19

Non-league
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, GERMANTOWN ACADEMY 0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-21)
The Patriots celebrated Senior Night with a sweep of the visiting Patriots.
Senior setter Katie Monaghan dished out 33 assists and also had 12 digs and one ace. Maddy Ware led a balanced attack with eight kills, one ace, two blocks and five digs while Kate Malobisky finished with seven kills, five aces and five digs. Aimee Wolf contributed six kills, one ace and one dig, and Sam Sharp also had six kills to go along with two blocks and five digs. Megan Colbert contributed five kills, five aces, two blocks and seven digs. Arya Haridas chipped in with five digs.
