SOL National Conference

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 0
In a battle of the neighboring rivals, it was the Golden Hawks maintaining their stronghold on first place in the standings with a sweep of the Indians.
Edan Kauer led the Hawks with 10 digs, nine kills and one ace while Nala Kauer added four aces, six kills and six digs. Ashlyn Dinan and Rachel Khelmer did a great job setting, spreading the ball around to their teammates. Cadence Palmer led the defense with 17 digs. Also contributing were Rachael Buchnik (4 kills, 1 block), Yana Katlyarenko (4 kills, 1 block), Dara Botnick (2 blocks, 3 kills), Olivia De Sar (2 blocks, 3 kills) and Cassidy Melnick (5 digs).

Council Rock South (13-2, 10-0 SOL) will travel to William Tennent on Thursday, and Council Rock North (10-6, 5-4) will host Neshaminy on Tuesday.

BENSALEM 3, NESHAMINY 0 (25-21, 27-25, 25-23)
The visiting Owls earned a sweep of the Redskins, but according to their coach, it wasn’t as easy as the score suggests.
“I have to give Neshaminy props,” Bensalem coach Violet DiMichele said. “They kept us on our toes the entire game and gave us a run for our money.
“This was a hard-fought game on both ends. I’m so proud of my girls for keeping their composure, fighting until the end and never giving up.

Chloe Costello led the defense with 11 digs and two assists while Talia DiMichele set a balanced offense with 23 assists and two kills. Ashley Tarr led the offense with nine kills, seven digs, and three aces. Allie Runowski played a strong game with seven kills, five digs, and three aces while Lexi Ryan had four kills and eight digs
“Middle blockers Jordan Domansky (4 kills, 2 blocks, 1 assist) and Mackenzie Kramer (3 kills, 1 block) played a huge game for us on the net today,” DiMichele said.
Bensalem (8-8, 5-6 SOL) will host Academy of Palumbo on Friday, and Neshaminy (5-6, 2-6) will host Dock Mennonite Academy in a non-league match Friday.

PENNSBURY 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0

SOL Continental Conference

QUAKERTOWN 3, SOUDERTON 1 (25-19, 20-25, 27-25, 25-18)
The Panthers pulled off the upset of the visiting Indians, notching their second win in conference play.
Grace White (14 kills, 4 blocks, 1 ace, 1 assist, 24 digs) and Ellie White (11 kills, 7 blocks, 3 aces, 1 dig) led a strong Panther effort at the net. Cece Bates added six kills, two aces and 11 digs, and Krysalyn Juchno had five kills and four digs. Mia Handschumacher added four kills, two blocks and two digs. Zoe Hartley contributed 18 digs, one kill, one ace and one assist. Setter Genevieve Clark handed out 36 assists and also had 12 digs, two blocks, one kill and one ace. Jocelyn Heverly added seven digs, and Colleen Gallagher had two aces and 10 digs.
For the Indians, McKenna Murawski led the way with 14 kills, 12 digs, one block and one ace. Zoe Falk spearheaded the defense with 18 digs and one ace. Setter Margaret Donnelly handed out 22 assists and also had five digs. Lauren Vince contributed six kills, six aces and two blocks, and Kaci Goshow had four kills, one assist, three aces, two digs and one block.
Quakertown (4-10, 2-8 SOL) will travel to Neshaminy for a non-league game on Monday, and Souderton (9-7, 5-4) will be on the road at Faith Christian Academy for a non-league match on Friday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-10)
Sparked by the 18-kill effort of Alexis Barklage, who also had one block, the Bucks earned a sweep of the visiting Titans to remain perfect in league play.
Rachel Hu added eight kills, two aces, four assists and five digs while Hollis Walton led a strong service game with six aces, three kills and one block. Alexa Lee had four aces, three assists and three digs. Elisa Kremser (14 assists, 3 kills, 2 digs) and Erin Ferello (2 kills, 1 ace, 12 assists) shared setting duties. Also contributing were Maggie Meglio (1 kill, 1 bock, 1 ace, 2 digs), Kya Lynch (2 kills, 1 block) Amber Woodring (1 ace, 7 digs) and Mairead (8 digs).
Central Bucks West (11-2, 9-0 SOL) will host Central Bucks East on Tuesday, and Central Bucks South (5-11, 3-7) will travel to Upper Dublin on Monday.

PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 0
The visiting Rams earned a sweep of the Patriots.
For the Patriots, Emily Arslan (10 assists and 3 digs) and Brynne Vonder Schmalz (9 assists and 2 digs) combined to direct the offense. Catie Tomlinson (9 kills, 16 digs, 2 aces), Regina Mathur (3 kills, 6 digs, 1 ace) and Mia Rivera (5 kills and 3 digs) delivered strong all-around performances. Defensive leaders were Abi Zmuda (11 digs and 2 aces) and Arya Haridas (4 digs).
Pennridge (11-3, 8-1 SOL) will host Pennsbury on Monday, and Central Bucks East (1-14, 1-9) will be on the road at Central Bucks West on Tuesday.
