SOL Girls' Volleyball Wrap (10-6-17)

ABINGTON 3, SOUDERTON 0 (25-15, 25-8, 25-19)
The Ghosts continued to roll, winning their 10th match in a row with their sweep of the Indians.
Grace Whitney led the Ghosts at the net with 12 kills and six blocks. Setter Anna Bantner had 21 assists and eight digs. Kaley Ehnow and Hannah Dalton both had seven kills. Dalton also had six digs.
For the Indians, Bella Mazzero had 14 digs and four aces. Setter Talia Watson had 25 assists. Tori Reiner contributed 16 kills, and Zoe Kondel had six kills.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-19)
The Indians closed out a tough week with a sweep of the Bucks.
Senior middle blocker Mackenzie Tinner led the Indians at the net with nine kills, two aces, three blocks and three digs. Senior captain/outside hitter Maddy Moore had three kills, 17 digs, one ace and one block. Senior captain Sarah Caola had 24 assists, one kill, three aces and seven digs, and senior outside hitter Alyssa Coates had seven kills, one ace and seven digs. Kaelin Mealy had five kills, one dig and one block, and Jenna Hron had six kills and two blocks. Ashley Kelly (five digs, two aces), Grace Schweizer (16 digs, one ace) and Jill Schweizer (six digs) led the Indians defensively.
For the Bucks, Katie Hudson had seven kills and 17 digs. Setter Ana Claricurzio had 14 assists and 10 digs. Casey Taylor added four kills and seven digs, and Mackenzie Brooks contributed three kills, six digs and two aces. Maggie Winderman had seven digs, and Jordan Klementovich added six digs.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, UPPER DUBLIN 0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-21)
The Colonials were led by Lily Acquaviva (14 kills, one ace, 11 digs) in their sweep of the Flying Cardinals. Setter Bridget McTamney had two aces, 36 assists and 16 digs, and Taylor O’Brien added seven kills and four blocks.
