BENSALEM 3, GREAT VALLEY 0 (25-22, 25-14, 27-25)

The Owls earned a sweep of the visiting Patriots in a non-league match, opening their season in impressive fashion.
"This was without a doubt a team win today,” coach Violet DiMichele said. “The girls hustled the whole game and never gave up. It’s a great feeling starting off the season with a win. I’m so excited to work with these girls and get to watch them on the court this season."
Talia DiMichele led a strong serving game with six aces and also dished out 29 assists. Chloe Costello’s 23 digs led the defense while Ashley Carr had 18 kills in a big performance at the net.

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, CENTRAL 0
The Panthers made it a sweep of Central in their non-league opener. Izzy Goebel had 25 assists, dishing nine of them to Emmerson McElhinney. Ava Stracuzzi had five blocks, Marguax Kellum had five aces and seven digs, and Addy Criss had 16 digs to anchor the defense.

SOUDERTON 3, ACADEMY PARK 0
Sparked by a strong service game, the Indians rolled to a sweep of their visitors in Friday’s opener.
Kay Guessford led a balanced attack with eight kills and three digs. Setter Stella Powers had 13 assists and eight aces. Lauren Vince had six aces, two kills and one dig. Zoe Folk had eight aces and one dig while McKenna Murawski added four kills, one ace and three digs.
