The Falcons bested the Owls in straight sets.
Keira Rogan’s seven kills and two digs led a solid team effort for the Falcons. Jocelyn Fang added six kills, two aces, and two digs. Claire Macleroy came up strong with six kills and two blocks. Kiersten Adair, Kira Sendlock and Ella Visco had four kills each. Also contributing for the Falcons were Natalie Johnson with three kills and Ainsley Dysart with one kill.
Faith Szumigala (2 kills, 1 ace) and Caroline Croteau shared setting duties. Sami Love and Jadyn Rogan served as Liberos for the Falcons.
Pennsbury (7-1, 4-1 SOL) will host Neshaminy on Thursday, and Bensalem (5-4, 2-3) will travel to Wissahickon on Thursday.
WILLIAM TENNENT 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0
The visiting Panthers won in straight sets over the Tigers.
“It was a very good team effort from the girls,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said.
William Tennent (5-2, 3-1 SOL) will host Council Rock South on Thursday, and Harry S Truman (0-6, 0-4) will travel to Council Rock South next Wednesday (Sept. 28).

The Pennridge Lady Rams were pushed to the brink by conference rival Souderton on Tuesday night but were able to emerge victorious in another five-set battle.
The Rams again started off slow in the first set and were unable to hold off Souderton's late rally. Again, the Lady Rams were called on to make a comeback in sets 4 and 5 to pull out a huge conference match-up.
Senior right side hitter Paige Lipp and sophomore outside hitter Caitlyn Kuntz came up with huge offensive performances in the victory. Kuntz was able to carry the Rams in the first two sets to keep the Lady Rams in the match, while Lipp was vital to the win with several momentum changing kills. Junior outside hitter Darby Nichols also stepped up in the clutch moments of sets four and five to push the Rams to the victory. Sophomore Melissa Hinkson was called upon by the coaching staff to step up in the middle and was able to chip in with several timely kills and quality service runs in the later stages of the match.
For the Indians, Teya McConaha had a big night at the net, finishing with 15 kills to go along with two aces and two digs. Alexa Mazzeo (12 digs, 5 aces, 3 assists) and McKenna Murawski (11 digs, 5 kills, 1 ace) led the Indians’ defense. Setter Grace Boyd had 31 assists and 10 digs.
The Rams (4-6, 3-2 SOL) will host conference leaders and favorites CB West on Thursday night in what will be a great test for the young Lady Rams. Souderton (5-3, 2-2) will host Central Bucks South on Thursday.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2 (25-23, 25-18, 14-25, 21-25, 15-12)
The Bucks outlasted the Patriots in a grueling five-set match in a classic battle of the sister schools.
Alexis Barklage (11 kills, 3 blocks, 1 ace) led a balanced West attack. Hollis Walton (8 aces, 4 kills, 3 blocks and 2 digs) and Mackenzie Lund (7 kills, 2 blocks) also had big nights. Rachel Hu (6 kills, 2 aces, 1 block, 15 digs) and Caroline Taylor (13 digs, 2 aces) led the Bucks’ defense. Setter Erin Ferello handed out 12 assists and also had two aces. Elisa Kremser (2 kills, 8 assists), Lily Rasnake (2 kills, 2 blocks) and Amber Woodring (8 digs).
Central Bucks West (8-1, 4-0 SOL) will travel to Pennridge on Thursday, and Central Bucks East (5-5, 5-1) will travel to Quakertown on Wednesday.
SOL American Conference
PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, ABINGTON 1 (25-18, 24-26, 25-21, 25-12)
PW went into Abington and came out victorious in a four-set battle. This win sets up a battle of unbeatens in league play on Thursday when PW hosts New Hope Solebury.
“Natalie Small went on a long service run in the fourth set to solidify the win,” PW coach Dave Stewart said. “
Small had 11 aces, 4 kills and 7 blocks on the day. Amanda Busk ended the day with 4 blocks and 3 kills. Neve Straff notched 8 kills and 14 digs. Caroline Veon had 5 aces and 8 digs, and the setting duo of seniors Rylie Watton and Ryenn Mamrosch combined for 6 aces and 23 assists.
“It was nice to come away with a tough fought win,” Stewart said. “Our team really needed the experience of winning a match like that! I was happy with how our team responded to a team and crowd that are very energetic during a match.”
PW (7-0, 4-0 SOL) will host New Hope-Solebury in a key conference battle. Abington (7-2, 3-2) will travel to Cheltenham on Thursday.

The Golden Hawks knocked off the Lions in a battle of conference powers. Once again, they used a balance attack to get the job done.
Edan Kauer had a monster night for the Golden Hawks, finishing with 17 kills, 12 digs and four aces. Nala Kauer added eight kills, two aces and three digs. Setter Ashlyn Dinan handed out 26 assists and also had eight digs, two kills and two aces. Lindsey Korn turned in a big defensive effort with 11 digs. Cadence Parker had eight digs. Shani Sun (4 digs, 2 kills), Olivia DeSaro (6 digs, 3 aces, 2 kills), Fracie DeSaro (3 blocks, 1 kill), Rachael Buchnik (1 blocks, 5 kills) and Casssidy Melnick (2 aces) also contributed.
Council Rock South (8-2, 4-0 SOL) will travel to William Tennent on Thursday, and New Hope-Solebury (7-2, 4-0) will be on the road at Plymouth Whitemarsh on Thursday.
