SOL National Conference

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, NESHAMINY 0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-16)
The Panthers rolled to a sweep of the visiting Redskins, but the big stories of the night were a pair of milestones reached by senior Addy Criss and junior Izzy Goebel. Criss, a libero, reached the 1,000-dig milestone while Goebel, the Panthers’ setter, hit the 1,000-assist milestone.
“We haven’t had anyone hit a milestone like this since 2018, so having two players hit on the same night was pretty special,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said. “It really got the rest of the team going, and they fed off that energy and the energy of a pretty nice crowd.
“Addy and Izzy have meant a lot to this program with all the work they have put in during the school season and club, and they both deserved this. We are very proud of the team’s effort tonight and of both girls for hitting their milestones.”
Criss finished the night with 16 digs and now has 1,003 for her career while Goebel dished out 29 assists and has 1,020 for her career.
