SOL National Conference

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-14)
The Panthers earned a sweep of the visiting Owls.
“We had been struggling a bit and really came together and played as a team tonight,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said. “The first two sets could have gone either way, but I felt like we played very strong defense and extremely smart offense. It was great to see, and we are proud of the girls for pulling out a tough league win.”
For the Owls, setter Talia DiMichele had 23 assists, nine digs and three aces in a strong all-around effort.
“She played an awesome game,” coach Violet DiMichele said. “She was really scrappy all game and was throwing her body around to get up some tough balls.”
Ashley Tarr led the offense with nine kills, eight digs and one ace, and Alllie Runowski had a big game at the net with eight kills.
“She came through for us on some really tough balls,” DiMichele said.
William Tennent (6-7, 4-4 SOL)will travel to Quakertown on Monday, and Bensalem (4-8, 2-6) will host Archbishop Ryan in a non-league game Friday.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, NESHAMINY 0
The Golden Hawks won their eighth match without a loss in conference play, earning a sweep of the Redskins.
Edan Kauer led the Golden Hawks with nine kills, eight digs and five aces. Nala Kauer had four kills and served out every set. Dara Botnick (1 kill) and Rachael Buchnik (2 kills) both contributed great blocking. Yana Kotlyarenko had three kills while Sara Gannon also had three kills and good cover. Ashlyn Dinan contributed five assists and played good defense. Rachel Khelmer added seven assists. Cadence Palmer had three digs and good passing while Cassidy Melnick had seven digs.
Council Rock South (10-0, 8-0 SOL) will host Upper Dublin on Monday in a non-league match, and Neshaminy (5-5, 2-5) will host Nazareth Academy in a non-league match on Monday.

SOL Continental Conference

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, NORTH PENN 0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-16)
Sparked by the dominant effort of Alexis Barklage at the net, the Bucks rolled to a sweep of the Knights to maintain their spot atop the Continental Conference standings.
Barklage finished the night with 16 kills and three blocks in just three sets. Rachel Hu added nine kills, six aces, nine digs and two assists in a superb all-around outing. Hollis Walton contributed five kills, one ace, four blocks and two digs. Alexa Lee’s 16 digs led the defense. She also had five aces and four assists. Setter Erin Ferello handed out 32 assists and also had six digs, three kills and one ace. Kya Lynch added four kills and one block.
Central Bucks West (9-2, 7-0 SOL) will host Quakertown on Tuesday, and North Penn (4-7, 4-4) will travel to Downingtown West for a non-league match Monday.

SOUDERTON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1 (25-14, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22)
The Indians rode the strong outing of McKenna Murawski to earn a sweep of the visiting Patriots.
Murawski led the Indians with 13 kills, 17 digs, one ace and one block. Setter Margaret Donnelly had 21 assists and six digs. Also contributing were Zoe Folk (2 assists, 1 ace, 11 digs), Emma Conklin (6 kills, 4 aces, 3 digs), Kaci Goshow (3 kills, 1 dig, 1 block) and Ella Rothenberger (2 kills, 2 blocks).
The Patriots battled throughout the entire match and received contributions up and down the roster. The offensive attack was directed by Mia Mettille (18 assists, 8 digs, 3 kills and 2 aces) and Emily Arslan (7 assists and 3 digs). On the receiving end of those sets were Catie Tomlinson, who had a monster night with 15 kills, 13 digs and 3 aces, Sophia Schwartz (6 kills, 5 digs and 1 block), Regina Mathur (3 kills and 7 digs), Summer Darling (2 kills and 3 blocks), and Ali Minacci (1 kill and 2 blocks). The defensive leaders were Brynne Vonder Schmalz (8 digs and 2 aces), Arya Haridas (6 digs and 2 assists) and Abi Zmuda (2 digs and 1 ace).
Souderton (9-5, 5-3 SOL) will host Villa Joseph Marie in a non-league match Monday, and Central Bucks East (1-10, 1-7) will be on the road at Germantown Academy for a non-league match on Saturday.

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 3, QUAKERTOWN 1 (25-9, 25-14, 24-26, 25-22)
The visiting Titans earned a win over the Panthers.
For the Panthers, Grace White had a double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs to go along with two blocks and one ace. Erika Marks (6 kills, 5 digs), Cece Bates (5 kills, 1 ace, 3 digs), Ellie White (4 kills, 3 aces, 1 block) and Mia Handschumacher (4 kills, 1 block, 3 digs) also contributed at the net. Setter Genevieve Clark dished out 27 assists and also had 12 digs. Jocelyn Heverly (8 digs) and Zoe Hartley (7 digs) contributed to the defense.
Central Bucks South (5-8, 3-5 SOL) will host Downingtown East in a non-league match on Monday, and Quakertown (3-8, 1-7) will host William Tennent on Monday.

SOL American Conference

ABINGTON 3, UPPER DUBLIN 2 (25-17, 20-25, 20-25, 25-22, 16-14)
The Ghosts rallied from a 2-1 deficit to win the next two sets to earn the gutsy comeback in the grueling five-set match – this despite playing without setter Mary Carter (injury).
“It was an incredible match,” Abington coach Dan Marsh said. “Still no Mary Carter, and we played a 6-2 first time ever without a practice, and our kids played their butts off as did Upper Dublin.”
Iris Winegrad, who is filling in for Carter, dished out 22 assists. Kaelyn Kosik shared setting duties with Winegrad and had 14 assists and five kills. Sasha Moody led the attack with 13 kills while Liz Tanis had nine kills and four blocks, and Sofie Heininger had seven kills.”
Abington (10-2, 6-2 SOL) will host Gwynedd Mercy in a non-league match Monday, and Upper Dublin (6-5, 5-3) will be on the road at Council Rock South for a non-league match Monday.
