CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-7, 25-16, 25-23)
Rachel Hu and Alexis Barklage combined for 29 kills, dominating play at the net in Wednesday’s sweep of the Panthers.
Hu’s double-double led the Bucks and included 16 kills and 11 digs while Barklage had 13 kills, two aces, two blocks and three digs. Alexa Lee led the Bucks’ strong service game with eight aces and 11 digs. Elisa Kremser (13 assists, 4 blocks, 1 kill, 1 ace) and Erin Ferello (12 assists, 2 kills, 2 digs) shared setting duties. Mairead Donaher contributed 10 digs, and Amber Woodring had six digs and five aces. Hollis Walton (2 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks) and Kya Lynch (1 block, 1 kill) also contributed.
For the Panthers, Anna Skogen had five kills, six assists, six digs and one block while Grace White had four kills, three blocks and one dig. Krysalyn Juchno (3 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs), Ellie White (3 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs), Cece Bates (2 kills, 2 aces) and Genevieve Clark (six assists) also contributed.
Central Bucks West (4-0, 2-0 SOL) will host Unionville Friday in a non-league match, and Quakertown (1-3, 0-3) will travel to Souderton on Tuesday.

 

Non-league
UPPER DUBLIN 3, CONWELL-EGAN 0

The Cardinals used a balanced team effort to earn a sweep of the Eagles in a non-league match.
Madison Small led the Cards with seven kills, six aces and nine digs while Brooke Kinsley (6 kills, 3 digs) and Janis Andrulonis (6 kills, 1 ace, 3 digs) also contributed at the net. Alisa Zeng’s 13 digs led the defense. She also had three aces and two assists. Reese Mackey also was a key defensively, contributing 10 digs as well as four kills. Lyvia Marcus added six digs, three aces and one assist. Kaitlyn Small directed the offense, dishing out 22 assists to go along with two kills and four digs.
Upper Dublin (2-3, 1-1 SOL) will host Wissahickon on Monday.
