The Titans eked out a win in the opening set and went on to win the next two.
"Today was a great day for our team.  Council Rock South is a great team and we had to really fight hard to beat them."  said CB South coach Kurt Godfrey.  "We certainly didn't start the day off right.  We fell behind by a lot in the first set, but I tried to keep our girls calm and just get them to dig back in little by little. I am so proud of all of our girls today.”
Allie Burke had a big match at the middle of the net. The junior middle led the Titans with 12 kills, three blocks and three digs. Freshman middle Millie Grove added eight kills and one block, and sophomore outside Courtney Pohl had seven kills. Setter Lizzie Shirley had 36 assists, 15 digs and two kills, and Maddie Mauri had 16 digs and two assists.
“I think we are finally starting find our identity and starting to realize what we can do when everyone does their job,” Godfrey said. “Allie Burke had another huge day for us, and Lizzie, our setter, quarterbacked our offense perfectly today. We were all over on defense and were able to get a couple lucky breaks too.  CR South is a good team and they are going to give a lot of people trouble.  It will definitely be another battle when we go to play them at their place."
