William Tennent defeated CB South in SOL SHSHL ice hockey action Wednesday. Check out all of the results.

WARRINGTON -- Any game against the defending PIAA champion is a big game. If your team can rise to the occasion, it becomes an even bigger game.
William Tennent rose against Central Bucks South, beating the Titans 5-3 on Wednesday night at Bucks County Ice Arena.
It wasn't so much that the Panthers overwhelmed South. It was more that they played a very consistent game for the entire contest.
"We just played 48 straight minutes of good hockey," said Tennent coach Nick D'Aurizio. "We've played well in spurts over the last couple of weeks and that's not enough.
"We said that we're playing a state championship hockey team, and if you play anything less that 48 minutes, you're not going to win.
"We had to play hard every single second of the game."
That’s exactly what the Panthers did. They did not let up for one second of the game.
After South scored with only 1:28 gone in the first period, The Panthers could have curled up and died, but they didn't.
Instead, they proceeded to put on a scoring show. Tennent scored three goals in the space of 30 seconds, which actually put the game away with nearly six minutes remaining in the opening period.
"We got outplayed," CB South coach Tom Coyne said. "They outplayed us.

"We were sloppy. We were real loose in our end. That's what you get."
The three Panther goals were all from in close, and two of them came on breakaways. South goalie Tim White, playing in place of starter Aaron King (suspension), didn’t have a chance.
"You've got to be able to pick up the guy hanging behind you," Coyne said. "You've got to go hip to hip with that guy in the neutral zone.
"We left him (White) there with a lot of breakaways. That's not an easy way to start."
Alec Dugan led the Panthers with a pair of goals.
"We knew coming into this game that they were going to be real hard to beat," Dugan said. "We knew we had to rise to the occasion.
"We stepped up and played as a team, and we just dominated them."
Damon DeLaurentis scored the first goal of the game for South, scoring off an assist from Matt Stoll with only 1:28 gone. But it was the only lead the Titans held all night.
At the 9:34 mark, Dugan notched his first goal. Twelve seconds later, John Dern put Tennent ahead to stay, and 18 seconds after that, Jack McKeever made it 3-1.
The two teams traded goals in the second period. Leo Flick got South close at the 3:14 mark, but McKeever got that goal back with 12:42 gone in the period.
In the third, Thomas Liberta cut the Panther lead to one goal, scoring on the power play for the Titans. Dugan netted his second goal – this one shorthanded - to complete the scoring.
The win keeps the Panthers tied at the top of the National Division with Pennsbury.
"We've been telling ourselves that we are a pretty good hockey team," D'Aurizio said. "We just needed to make a statement, and I think we did here tonight.
"I've been a part of this team for eight years, and I can't think of anything that's come this close. I couldn't be prouder."
Dugan echoed similar sentiments.
"It just says that we were able to keep momentum, and hopefully, it translates into more in games in the future," he said. "It says that we shouldn't be taken lightly.
"If we can knock off a former state champ, then we can beat anybody in this league."

WISSAHICKON 6, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3
The Trojans used a 3-0 third quarter to break a 3-3 tie and take control of Wednesday’s game against the Colonials.
Heading into the final period, it was anyone’s game as the two teams spent the first two periods exchanging goals. The Trojans used first-period goals by Brandon Rosoff (Nolan Piatkowski assist) and Dylan Alioto (Rosoff assist) to take a 2-1 lead into the second period. Alioto’s goal came on a power play after the Colonials had knotted the score on a power play goal by Bo Flint (Nate Slowick/Kevin Lawrence assists).
A goal by Lawrence (Chris Rinaldi/Christopher Zawislak assists) 1:24 into the second period knotted the score. Rosoff got that goal back for the Trojans (Edward Burkhart assists) only to watch the Colonials tie things up with a late goal by Skyler Goldstein (Lawrence assist).
The Trojans owned the third period, using goals by Jake Flancer (Jacob Segelbaum assist), Harry Hessler (Flancer/Kyle Wolf assists) and Burkhart for the 6-3 final.

HARRY S TRUMAN 10, UPPER DUBLIN 7
Kyle Bennett had a monster eight-point night to lead the Tigers to a win in Wednesday’s high-scoring contest, finishing with four goals and four assists. Michael Roarty added two goals and three assists for a five-point night of his own, and Colin Roberts had two goals and two assists. Christian Morando had a goal and an assist for three points.
For the Flying Cardinals, Luke Zachy led the way with three goals and two assists while Jack Sanders was busy dishing off assists, finishing with four.
Truman scored four straight goals to open the game and appeared to be in command, but the Cardinals trimmed that lead to 4-2 heading into the second period. Back-to-back goals by Bennett gave the Tigers another four-goal cushion, but again, Upper Dublin answered with a pair of goals to make it a 6-4 game entering the final period.
Truman led 8-5 after Roarty scored 6:24 into the period, but Upper Dublin made it interesting with back-to-back goals by Ethan Schwartz and Zachy. Goals by Molando and Bennett (shorthanded into the empty net) iced the win for Truman.
The Tigers held a 32-26 advantage in shots.

NORTH PENN 8, PENNRIDGE 1
Jake Snyder was all but untouchable in goal, and Spencer Silver (two goals, two assists) contributed a four-point game to lead a balanced Knight attack.
Silver put the Knights on the scoreboard just over seven minutes into the opening period, connecting on a power play goal with assists from Ryan Nowicki and Austin Redilla. A goal by Jake Heckenberger (Alex Peterson assist) put the Knights on top 2-0, but Pennridge’s Joshua Finlayson (Troy Crosson/Cameron Bird assists) cut that lead in half with a goal of his own.
The Knights all but put the game out of reach with a three-goal second period that featured goals by Alex Peterson (Heckenberger/Nowicki assists), Jaime Green (Joe Hawks/Michael Raimo assists) and Andrew Galetta (Jared Barkley/Silver assists). The Knights added to their 5-1 lead with three unanswered goals in the third period for the 8-1 final.
Snyder turned away 32 of 33 shots he faced in a standout effort.
