COUNCIL ROCK 6, ABINGTON 2
Darren Barder (three assists) and Kyle Bradley (two goals, one assist) both had three-point games to lead a balanced Golden Hawk attack.  Mason Procz was outstanding in goal, turning away 41 of 43 shots he faced.
The two teams were deadlocked 1-1 after one period with Abington’s Alex DeCristofano (Ryan Woelbl/Thomas Panella assists) and Rock South’s Joe Marcella (Barder assist) exchanging goals.
In the second period, Chad Weiner (Karl Martin/Bradley assists) and Bradley scored back-to-back goals to give the Golden Hawks a 3-1 lead. Bradley scored on a power play with assists from Dylan Varian and Weiner. Abington’s Chris Shannon scored a shorthanded goal to make it a 3-2 game after two periods, using an Aidan Smith assists
The third period belonged to the Golden Hawks, who received goals from Bradley (power play), Jay Jenkins and Martin (power play).
The Golden Hawks held a 41-38 advantage in shots.

Bryan McIntosh had a five-point night to lead the Patriots’ attack, finishing with the hat trick to go along with two assists. Teammate Nick Chimeria added a goal and an assist for three points.
The Patriots jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period, using goals from Austin Chase, McIntosh and Chimeria. Another McIntosh goal in the second period made it a 4-0 game. The Patriots closed it out with third period goals by Owen Long, Chase and McIntosh.
East goalie Evan Angotti turned away all 17 shots he faced in the shutout.

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 5, LOWER MORELAND 2
Chrisopher Zawislak connected for the hat trick and also had an assist to lead the Colonials’ offensively.
The Colonials led 2-0 after one period, thanks to goals by Zawislak (Jonathan Isely assist) and Skyler Goldstein (Zawislak assist). It was a 3-0 game after another Zawislak goal 29 seconds into the second period, this one also with an Isely assist. Lower Moreland’s Cory Blumenthal scored an unassisted goal in the final minute of the period to make it a 3-1 game.
Nate Slowik (Chris Rinaldi assist) got that goal back 8:19 into the third period to give PW a 4-1 advantage, but Blumenthal scored an unassisted goal less than a minute later. A power play goal by Christopher Zawislak (Kevin Lawrence/Bo Flint assists) closed out the scoring.
The Colonials held a 48-16 advantage in shots. Jacob Magill earned the win in goal, turning away 14 of 16 shots he faced.
