PENNSBURY 9, HARRY S TRUMAN 2
Jack Kelly turned in a monster eight-point performance, contributing four goals and four assists, to lead the Falcons to the big win. Kevin Koerner had a five-point night of his own, scoring a pair of goals and assisting on three others.
Kelly put the Falcons on the board 3:17 into the first period, using a Koerner assist. Back-to-back goals by Koerner gave the Falcons a 3-0 lead at the end of one period. Luke Ledes and Jack Kelly assisted on the first of the two, and Kelly and Ryan Mudrick assisted on the second.
The Falcons increased their lead to 6-0 with Kelly connecting for a pair – both with Koerner assists - and Ryan Michael adding a power play goal (Anthony Bench assist). A power play goal by Ross Koenig (Kyle Bennett assist) put the Tigers on the scoreboard, but Tommy Hynes (Kelly assist) got that goal back to make it a 7-1 game after two periods.
Mike Tarasiewicz (Kelly assist) found the net to make it an 8-1 game before Truman’s Tyler Bucci scored an unassisted goal. Kelly closed out the big night with a goal at the 9:57 mark, using assists by Luke Ledes and Cameron Polo.
Pennsbury’s Trevor Schadler turned away 16 of 18 shots he faced.

John McCreadie scored an unassisted goal 3:02 into the third period, knotting the score 6-6. Neither team scored the rest of the way.
McCreadie led the Bucks with the hat trick while Ryan Woelbl had a three-point night to pace a balanced Ghost attack with one goal and two assists.
The Bucks had the better of play in the opening period, opening up a 2-0 lead after goals by Joe Anton (Griffin Shields assist) and McCreadie (Ryan Trefz assist). Woelbl scored a shorthanded goal, using an Elliot Leporati assist to make it a 2-1 game, but Shawn Philipps answered with an unassisted goal to send West into the second period with a 3-1 lead.
Goals by Woelbl (unassisted) and Tyler Krammer (Alex DeCristofano assist) knotted the score 3-3 early in the second period. McCredie and Abington’s Aiden Smith (Justin Adamski assist) exchanged goals in a 15-second period, but a goal by Adamski gave the Ghosts a 5-4 lead after three periods.
Scotty Cappuccio (Eddie Shields assist) scored the equalizer 1:06 into the third period only to watch DeCristofano (Adamski assist) connect with a goal at the 2:52 mark. McCreadie had an immediate answer, and that would be the extent of the scoring for both sides.
