COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, NESHAMINY 2
The Redskins and Golden Hawks found themselves deadlocked heading into the third period when Rock South’s Matt Gulack (Kyle Bradley/Eric Higgins assists) scored a goal that turned out to be the game winner 1:29 into the final period.
Earlier, Alex Keck gave the Golden Hawks a 1-0 lead in the first period, but Neshaminy’s Nick Foster (power play) and Ian Dixon answered with back-to-back goals in the second period. The Redskins 2-1 lead was shortlived as Bradley scored the equalizer less than a minute after Dixon’s go-ahead goal.
The Golden Hawks held a 26-22 edge in shots. Redskin goalie Matt Sheley turned away 23 shots while Andrew Stone stopped 20 of 22 shots he faced for the Golden Hawks.

WILLIAM TENNENT 10, WISSAHICKON 7
Jeff Mitchell (one goal, five assists) and Andrew Bean (one goal, four assists) led the Panthers with six and five-point nights respectively. Dustin Rabinowitz (one goal, four assists), Luke Honorowski (two goals, two assists) and Matt Vervlied (three goals, one assist) had big nights for the Trojans.
Tennent’s Alec Dugan scored a pair of goals to propel the Panthers to a 2-1 lead at the end of one period. Goals by Wissahickon’s Brandon Rosoff and Honorowski made it a 5-4 game, but Jeff Mitchell answered with a power play goal to give the Panthers a two-goal cushion. A Rabinowitz goal made it a 6-5 game at the end of two periods.
The third period was another wild one. Dugan opened the scoring for Tennent, but Honorowski responded with a goal for the Trojans. Charlie Feeney and Dugan scored to put the Panthers on top 9-6, all but sealing the Trojans’ fate.
Wissahickon held a 38-34 advantage in shots.
