CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 4, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3
In a marquee battle of two of the SHSHL’s top teams, the Titans used a pair of late goals by Dominic Bova to eke out the dramatic win. The two teams battled to a 2-2 tie at the end of two periods, but East’s Andrew Bily (Austin Baty/Zach Davis assists) scored the go-ahead goal just under three minutes into the final period.
That 3-2 lead held up until Bova (Kevin Casey/Brandon Spognardi assists) scored the equalizer just over 11 minutes into the period. Just over a minute later, Bova scored a goal that turned out to be the game winner, once again using assists from Casey and Spognardi.
Spognardi finished the night with a goal and two assists to lead the Titans while East was led by Bily’s hat trick.
