The Rams celebrated Senior Night with a shutout win over their neighboring rival. Eric Slater’s five-point night (four goals, one assist) led the Rams.
It was Slater putting the Rams on the scoreboard 28 seconds into the contest, using a Bryson Egan assist. Slater’s power play goal midway through the period with assists from Patrick McGinley and Michael Walker gave the Rams a 2-0 lead after one period. Only the 20-save effort of goalie Joshua Smith in the period kept the Indians within striking distance.
The Rams added four goals in the second period – two by Slater, the second with a Walker assist. McGinley (Slater assist) and Conrad Frisch (Nick Eissler, Michael Eissler assists) each added single goals as the Rams opened up a 5-0 lead.
In the third period, Dylan Lowry (Walker, Jake Weisbecker assists) and Michael Eissler (Mikael Mastropaolo, Weisbecker assists) closed out the scoring with single goals.
Smith finished the game with 43 saves. Michael White recorded nine saves in the shutout win for the Rams.

Zac Herman had a hand in six goals, connecting for four goals and assisting on two more to lead the Indians to the decisive win.
Rock North’s Daniel Guest (John Vanni, Brian Leinheiser assists) and Truman’s Steven Avellino – who scored a short-handed goal - exchanged scores, and the two teams were deadlocked. A goal in the closing seconds of the period by Trevor Zemzik gave the Indians a 2-1 lead.
Wiliam Sohn (Guest assist) scored 2:37 into the second period to put the Indians on top 3-1, but Robert DiCrosta (Codey Gordon assist) answered with a goal to pull the Tigers to within one. Back-to-back goals by Zac Herman – the first with assists from Sohn and Brandon Simmonds – put the Indians on top 5-2, and they led 6-2 after one period, thanks to a Cavan Tully goal 12:10 into the period.
The Indians scored six unanswered goals in the final period with Herman connecting on a pair – the second with a Simmonds assist. Simmonds (Jared Epstein, Herman assists), Harrison Treiman (Guest assist), Vanni and Sohn each added single goals.
Rock North goalie Rex Goldberg was credited with 16 saves in the win while Truman’s Kyle Huth turned away 30 shots.
