NCAA College Baseball Information Night: The Process & the Experience
The Extra Bases Fall League is presenting an NCAA College Baseball Information Night on Thursday, Dec. 5, 7 p.m., in the North Penn High School auditorium. This special program is a ‘must attend’ for athletes aspiring to play collegiate baseball at the Division One, Division Two or Division Three levels.
The evening will feature guest speakers Mike Lake, head coach at La Salle University (Division One), Chris Blum, head coach at Kutztown University (Division Two) and Paul Murphy, head coach at Gwynedd Mercy College (Division Three). Also speaking will be North Penn High School Guidance Counselor Bill Travers and Rob Zinsmeister, a 2009 graduate of North Penn who went on to play collegiate baseball at IUP and was the 2011 Futures League MVP.
The evening will include an informative panel discussion and question and answer session covering everything a player needs to know about the process of playing college baseball.

Cheltenham Lady Panthers’ Alumni Basketball Game/Youth Basketball Clinic
An alumni basketball game featuring some of Cheltenham’s former standouts will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2 p.m., at Cheltenham High School in Wyncote. A partial list of those participating includes Brandi Butler (1996), Stacey Smalls (1999), Shayla Johnson (2000), Tammy Frazier (2001), Antonia Gale (2005), Jackie Dooley (2006), Misha Horsey (2007) and Ashley Gale (2007).
