Souderton Girls Varsity Wrestling competed in its first official ever PIAA dual meet for both schools last evening at Pennsbury. Pennsbury had a full roster, so the final outcome was 48-18 but head-to -head Souderton won 3 of the 5 contested bouts.
- Senior Gisele Ramirez beat the number 2 ranked girl in the district by fall
- Sophomore Emily Sarr also pinned the number 2 ranked girl in the district.
- Freshman MacKenna Atkinson improved to 4-0 with a first period fall over her opponent
MacKenna is currently ranked #2 in the state and # 1 in District 1
Gisele is currently ranked HM in the state and #1 in District 1
Emily is currently ranked #5 in the state and #2 in District 1
