Abington at the New Hope-Solebury Wrestling Tournament
Cole Sexton placed third at 120, Alex Winshel placed second at 132, Zach Hain placed third at 138, Austin Inverso placed second at 152, Jacob Fisher placed fourth at 170, Keshon Guiellmo placed second at 195, and Jamal Graham placed third at 285. As a team Abington placed third.
Bensalem at the Knight Dual
The Owls went 3-1 at the Knight Dual, opening their day with a 66-6 win over South Philly High and then defeating Archbishop Ryan 49-25. Later in the day, Notre Dame (Easton) defeated the Owls 44-30, and the day ended with a 44-30 Bensalem win over Kennett Square. Donovin Williams, Jasin Speer and Ryan Nolan each went 4-0 while Dylan Hansbury, Jack Mackenzie and Chuck Vile all were 3-1.
Central Bucks West at New Hope-Solebury Tournament
This past weekend, CB West participated in the New Hope Tournament. As a team, West took fourth place. Individually, the Bucks had four champions and one second place winner. Kevin Gerbrick dominated his opponent from Westtown, while Jason Stout and Jason Douple did the same. Jason Douple did have a last minute takedown to a nearfall to win his match. Jason Stout controlled his opponent the entire match and won 6-2. Justin O’Connor took second at 182 lbs.
Riley Barth (145 lbs.) won his 100th match of his career and was the Outstanding Wrestler. Riley is an extremely hard worker and has dedicated a lot of his time to continually strive for excellence in this sport. He has accomplished his 100th win at the beginning of his senior year and will continue to add to this milestone record. Congratulations go out to Riley from his coaches, teammates, administrators and parents.
Harry S Truman at Brian Bealer Memorial Duals (at Boyertown High Schools)
Truman opened up with a loss to Owen J. Roberts and. The Tigers won their second match against North Penn and then fell to Unionville and Governor Mifflin. The Tigers concluded with a win over Interboro to take a seventh place finish.
The highlight of the day came from senior Dylan Nuttall (120lbs) beating Derick Gullotta from Owen J. Roberts (three-time state place-winner, currently ranked #1 in the SE Region at 120 lbs) by a score of 8-4. Nuttall went on to win his next four matches, going 5-0 on the day (2 Falls, 1 Technical Fall, 1 Major Decision, and the 8-4 decision over Gullotta). Nuttall was named the Outstanding Wrestler.
Other highlights included junior Dustin Stone going 4-1, his only loss coming in an ultimate tiebreaker to Jordan Allien from Governor Mifflin. Junior Quentin Mulbah went 3-2, capturing two falls. A few key wrestlers were missing from the line-up, including Junior Austtin Vossbein (126lbs.).

WISSAHICKON DUALS
West Chester Henderson won the team title with a perfect 5-0 mark. Wissahickon, the lone SOL school, was 2-3. Jason Caso, a first-year wrestler, was a perfect 4-0 at 220.
SOLANCO MULE CLASSIC
Central Bucks East finished sixth with 122 points while Hatboro-Horsham was 13th with 66.5 points.
CB East's Ryan Chalifoux captured the individual title at 132 while Evan Wilson earned gold at 182. Chris Eck finished second at 113. Matt Cascioli was fourth at 170, and Collin Steven (152) and Manny Martinez (285) both had fifth place finishes. Marshall Whinney debuted as a Patriot with a respectable eighth place finish at 220 pounds.
Nick Schuck was Hatboro-Horsham's top finisher, capturing second at 285 while Matt Chapman (220) and San Negron (106) both finished seventh. Nick Chapman was eighth at 182.
