Saucon Valley won the tournament over Spring Ford. Saucon is currently number 2 in the state at the AA level.
Souderton went 2-2, beating Downingtown East 43-28 and Neshaminy 42-32. The Indians lost to District 1 power and tournament finalist Spring Ford 53-22 in the quarterfinals. Our last match Souderton lost a tight one to Timberlane 42-31. Timberlane is from New Hampshire. They are the defending state champions (several years) and are regarded as one of the top teams in the entire New England Region.
Ben Beckett (160) went 4-0 and is 14-2 on the season
Erick Dominguez (138) went 4-0 and is 11-1 on the season
Tyler Geiger (132) went 4-0 and is 10-4 on the season.
AJ Stayton (126) went 3-0 and is 9-2 on the season.
Several other Souderton wrestlers went 3-1 including Luke Ragusa (106); Charlie Arobone (113) and Kole Lester (189)
Souderton Wrestling is home Wednesday Night against Pennridge. This is a big match and is community night. The youth matches will begin at 545 and work up through JV and then Varsity.
