Sterling Limo Players of the Game (Wk 3)

Sterling Limousine and Transportation Services of Wrightstown is proud to recognize the Players of the Game for SOL teams that are part of each week’s SuburbanOneSports.com’s Featured Games.

PENNRIDGE at COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH (Pennridge 31, Council Rock South 7)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Game – Michael Class, Pennridge
The Rams’ junior running back exploded for 256 yards on 30 carries, which included touchdown runs of seven and two yards. He also hauled in one pass for 15 yards.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “He can do a little bit of everything. He can run around you, he can run through you, he’s got great moves, and he’s got great vision. He’s a great back, and the line really did a good job. Council Rock South threw a lot of different stuff, and the line was able to give him some space, and he’s the guy, if he has space, he’s going to get a bunch of yards.”

Sterling Limousine Defensive Co-Player of the Game – Alex Fedele, Pennridge
The senior middle linebacker made the most of his opportunity in his first start of the season, delivering five tackles and one for a loss.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “With the scheme we’re running, we needed a linebacker, and we wanted to make it simple for him and let him be aggressive. He was just in the middle, and he had to tackle the fullback every play. He did his job.”

Sterling Limousine Defensive Co-Player of the Game – Mike Supp, Pennridge
The Rams’ senior defensive lineman had five tackles, which included a pair of tackles for a loss. Supp helped anchor a defense that limited the Golden Hawks to just 140 yards of total offense.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “He’s been all over the place for us. He plays defensive tackle and defensive end. We move him around a little, and he’s a key guy for us. He’s been good for us all year. He’s been our second tight in our double tight sets, and John Dubyk got hurt, so he was literally on the field the entire time.”

Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Siffee Good, Pennridge
Good, a sophomore, has been a standout performer on special teams all season for the Rams.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “He’s just an effort guy. On kickoffs, he’s the one guy you know is going to be flying down there, blowing stuff up. He’s a good fullback too, and he’s going to be a key guy for us in the future.”

SOUDERTON at NESHAMINY (Souderton 18, Neshaminy 7)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Player of the Game – Anthony Williams, Souderton
In limited action, the Indians’ senior running back accumulated 163 yards on just seven carries, which included touchdown runs of nine and 56 yards. Williams also had a 45-yard pass completion.
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “He only played half a game, and I was surprised he even played. I was expecting to be rotating people through to cover for his injury all night. He came out on the first couple of series, and he wasn’t full speed, but he really toughed it out to play as long as he could. He’s a really talented athlete.”

Sterling Limousine Defensive Player of the Game – Jarrett Reinhard, Souderton
The senior linebacker had five tackles and a sack to lead a stingy Indians’ defense against the Redskins. Reinhard, a three-year starter, is the Indians’ second leading tackler with 15.
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “He’s had a great year on both sides of the ball. Jarrett Reinhard is the heart and soul of this team. He really comes to practice every day with a great lunch pail mentality. He comes to practice and he just works and works and works, and it rubs off. He just wants to play football. He’s one of those kids – if you told him he could play football all day long, he’d play football all day long.”

Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Kyle Wenger, Souderton
The senior safety did a little bit of everything, and he had heads-up play on a punt after a bad snap, somehow getting the punt off deep in Indians’ territory and taking the Redskins out of Souderton territory.
Coach Ed Gallagher says:  “He does it all. I think he came off the field for two or three snaps at wide receiver. He lines up at tight end when we need him to, he makes big catches, and he played every single snap at safety. He made play after play. The play he made on the punt (on the bad snap) - even though they scored on it, it gave us a little more time because they had to drive a little further down the field on us. It was just a great play, and I’m very proud of him. He’s worked so hard at football. He’s a great baseball player, but he bought into football fulltime this year, and I’m so happy he’s having the success he’s had.”
