Sterling Limo Players of the Game (Wk 7)

Sterling Limousine and Transportation Services of Wrightstown is proud to recognize the Players of the Game for SOL teams that are part of each week’s SuburbanOneSports.com’s Featured Game(s).

CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH at PENNRIDGE (Pennridge 21, Central Bucks South 10)
Sterling Limousine Offensive Co-Player of the Game – Mike Class, Pennridge
The junior running back had another huge night for the Rams, accumulating 218 yards on the ground on 26 carries with one touchdown. His 70-yard touchdown run that put the Rams on top 21-10 was the backbreaker. He also had two receptions for 40 yards, which included a 30-yard touchdown pass.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “His touchdown run kind of put the game out of reach. He had a big game, but that was a real critical point, and when he ripped off a 70-yarder, I think everyone was breathing a little easier after that.”

Sterling Limousine Offensive Co-Player of the Game – Alex Krivda, Pennridge
The Rams’ quarterback was 4-of-6 passing for 75 yards and a touchdown. His 30-yard TD strike to Mike Class early in the game gave the Rams a lead they would not lose.
Coach Randy Cuthbert said:  “He made some real nice throws, and that first touchdown pass to Class was a perfect ball. That was huge because it got us started, and scoring on your opening drive is always big.”

Sterling Limousine Offensive Co-Player of the Game – Kyle Bigam, Pennridge
The Rams’ running back not only blocked for Class but also had seven carries for 39 yards and one touchdown. His three-yard touchdown run propelled the Rams to an early 14-0 lead.

Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “Kyle does everything for us. He had a great game blocking. He had our second touchdown run, and he had couple big runs on counter plays. He’s had a great year, and the last couple of weeks he’s been on fire.”

Sterling Limousine Defensive Co-Player of the Game – John Dubyk, Pennridge
The senior defensive end, a captain, helped anchor a line that held the explosive Titans to just 108 yards rushing.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “John Dubyk is probably the toughest kid on the team. I think he’s the best end in the league, and he had a huge game, helping to contain Josh Adams.”

Sterling Limousine Defensive Co-Player of the Game – Mike Supp, Pennridge
The senior defensive tackle was part of a line that not only contained the Titans’ running game but limited South’s explosive offense to just over 200 yards of total offense.

Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “Supp plays like a madman up front. He’s 6-5, 230, and he plays very low and is tough to block. He was making plays all night in their backfield.”

Sterling Limousine Defensive Co-Player of the Game – Micah Stutzman, Pennridge
The Rams’ junior free safety came up with the defensive play of the game, intercepting a pass at his team’s own 30-yard line. One play later, teammate Mike Class took it in for a TD that put the Rams on top 21-10.

Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “That interception was a big momentum changer. We’re up four, and he makes a great play on the pick on the 30-yard line. On the next play, Mike scores. That was a big turnaround.”

Sterling Limousine Special Teams Player of the Game – Joe Unangst, Pennridge
Unangst, only a sophomore, made his first start as the team’s kicker a good one, connecting on all three PATs.
Coach Randy Cuthbert says:  “We needed some consistency with our PATs, and he has a nice stroke. He’s also a very good player, and he’s going to be a real good player for us in the future.”
