STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Sterling Limo Offensive Players of the Game:
First Star: Will Dogba, Neshaminy –
The senior running back delivered when it mattered most in Neshaminy’s 35-22 win, scoring three touchdowns in a second half that saw the ‘Skins rally from a 19-14 halftime deficit to earn the victory. Dogba had TD runs of eight, nine and three yards in the pivotal second half. He finished the game with 149 yards and four touchdowns on 19 carries and eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the second time in as many seasons.
Coach Steve Wilmot says:  “Will has been a workhorse for us all year.  When we need those tough yards, we know we can count on Will to get them, especially on the goal line.”

Second Star: Darryl Davis-McNeil, Abington – The junior running back had another huge performance in the Ghosts’ 49-35 win over Harry S Truman, finishing the game with 272 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries.

Wes Verbit, Central Bucks East – The senior wide had receiver had seven receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns (a third was called back) in Central Bucks East’s 45-13 win over Council Rock North.

Sterling Limo Defensive Players of the Game:
First star: Owen Thomas, North Penn –
In just two quarters of action, the junior linebacker was a game changer in North Penn’s 48-13 win over Souderton. Twice Thomas killed Souderton drives in the red zone, returning an interception 90 yards for a touchdown and then – with the Indians’ on the Knights’ three-yard line – forcing a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. He finished with four tackles – three for a loss – and also had a tipped pass that was returned for a TD but called back to the 12-yard line because of a block in the back at the goal line. For good measure, he also had a touchdown reception from quarterback Reece Udinski.
Coach Dick Beck says:  “He’s been playing well for us all year. Last year he was more of an outside linebacker/defensive end, and we moved him inside. Each week we see him get better, not just with the big plays, but he’s making the plays he’s supposed to make, and that’s really helpful. To intercept the ball and run it back 90 yards for a touchdown and then when Souderton gets down to the three-yard line, he hits their back and causes him to fumble, and that gets returned. The next play he deflects a pass and that gets returned for a touchdown.”

Second star:  Nate Norris, Central Bucks South – The senior linebacker turned in another monster performance with 14 tackles – two for a loss – to lead a defense that allowed just 145 yards in South’s 14-7 win over Central Bucks West.

Second star: Sam McTear, Cheltenham – The senior defensive end had a huge game in the Panthers’ 27-14 win over Wissahickon, delivering nine tackles – four for a loss. He also moved from tackle to guard and was a major contributor in the offensive line’s improved play.

Sterling Limo Special Teams Players of the Game
First star:  Myles King, Central Bucks East –
The East senior had a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown – which was just five yards short of tying a school record – in Central Bucks East’s 45-13 win over Council Rock North. He also contributed six tackles.
Coach John Donnelly says:  “Myles is a dynamic player who is finally as healthy as he’s been all year. He continues to make big plays in all phases of the game. Myles has made a lot of big plays for us over the past three year. He is also very well liked by his teammates.”

Second star:  Antaun Lloyd, Wissahickon – The Trojan junior was a bright spot in the Trojan’s 27-13 loss to Cheltenham, returning a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown.
