Sterling Limo Players of the Week (Wk 13/14)

Sterling Limousine and Transportation Services of Wrightstown is proud to recognize the Players of the Week for each conference. Players are chosen based on the nomination of coaches.

NESHAMINY 42, NORTH PENN 7 (Friday, Nov. 29)

Sterling Limousine Player of the Week  - Alex Nicolas, Neshaminy High School
Nicolas had a monster game on defense in Neshaminy’s decisive win over North Penn, leading the ‘Skins with 12 tackles – 11 solo, which included two tackles for a loss. He also was credited with two hurries and one caused fumble.

Coach Mark Schmidt says:  “Alex played the best game of his career Friday night against North Penn, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. He was a disruptive force in the run game and pressured a very good quarterback all night. Alex will need to raise his game to another level on Saturday as we face a balanced and explosive Hawk offense.”

NESHAMINY 35, ABINGTON 14 (Friday, Nov. 22)

Sterling Limousine Player of the Week – Cole Creighton, Neshaminy High School
Creighton had a huge night for the Redskins’ defense in their win over Abington, contributing four total tackles, which included one tackle for a loss. He also had an interception and returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
Co-Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach Neil French says: “On a night when he and Denny Lord broke Kevin Kelly’s record for career games played, Cole played his best game at Heartbreak Ridge. In an era when so many athletes specialize in one sport, what Cole has done this season is truly remarkable. Already signed at Stony Brook for baseball, Cole unselfishly accepted a position change about two weeks before camp started and has relentlessly worked for the past 17 weeks to improve his game at linebacker.”
