Univest Recognizes Upper Moreland Featured Athletes

Univest Corporation has partnered with SuburbanOneSports.com to recognize close to 500 Univest Featured Athletes over the years. Last week, Univest visited Upper Moreland to recognize four of its students. For additional information about the services provided by Univest, please visit the web site: www.Univest.net.

Upper Moreland seniors Josh Abrams, Everett Benson, Jenn Freeman and James Martin were recognized by Univest last Thursday for their selection as Univest Featured Athletes.

“Univest firmly believes in giving back to the communities it serves, which is why it partners with Suburban One Sports to recognize the hard work the students, coaches, parents and administrators put into making their athletic programs a success,” said Nicole O’Neil, Public Relations and Social Media Manager at Univest. “Community is one of Univest’s core values, and through its Committed to Local philanthropic giving program, Univest donated $1.2 million to local communities last year – with nearly half of that going to support educational initiatives.”

O’Neil, on behalf of Univest, presented certificates of recognition and gift bags to Abrams, Benson, Freeman and Martin.

SuburbanOneSports.com has recognized close to 500 seniors of high character over the years. It is only through the web site’s longstanding partnership with Univest that it is possible to tell the stories of these remarkable student-athletes.

“On behalf of the entire Upper Moreland High School family, I’d like to thank Univest for their willingness to recognize our fine student-athletes for their outstanding accomplishments,” Upper Moreland Principal Joseph A. Carracappa said. “Univest and Upper Moreland share the same mission: to be a strong, influential leader in the communities we serve.

“Our students take this seriously, and it shows both on and off the field. I’m proud of our athletic programs, its athletes and appreciate Univest’s recognition of their accomplishments.”
