This is the first time Duan and Choo, Upper Dublin’s 1 an 2 singles players have teamed up for the league doubles tournament.
Last season, UD’s Senior Bryan Szayna and Daniel Katz placed second in the state doubles championship.
"Chemistry on the court is everything when it comes to doubles. Having confidence in your partner makes all the difference. The final was an example of classic doubles, Andrew would set up the point and Chris would put it away. There was never a time during the match that Andrew and Chris weren’t having fun," Upper Dublin coach Lora Ball said.
This is another victory for Upper Dublin this season after winning the conference title with a 5-2 win over Wissahickon last month. This is the fifth conference title for UD in six years.
