Reasons for choosing East Stroudsburg: “My interest was in doing something that involved sports, and East Stroudsburg is known for that. Their majors involved physical activity like exercise science, coaching and things like that. I did a soccer camp at East Stroudsburg. It felt pretty good, I got to know everyone pretty well. They even brought players from the actual team there to work with us. It felt like a good fit.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level? “My dad used to play soccer all the time, and he got me into it. I felt connected immediately. Obviously, I had to practice, but I feel like we had a connection and that’s why I kept doing it my entire life.”
Coach Andy Meehan says: “When I took over the program, Patrick was one of the players that started to 
become a leader. He was somebody you could always rely on off the field, and you could always rely on him on the field. The one thing he’ll have, and it will take him to the next level is an incredible work ethic. When there’s something he wants to achieve, he’s going to work his butt off to achieve it. On the field, he was a leader, a hard-nosed tackler, winning every ball in the air and every 50-50 ball and being a staple back there on the defense. East Stroudsburg will be getting a very, very hard-working, dedicated and talented defender. Hopefully, that will take him to the next level and he will achieve success at the next level. From everybody at Upper Dublin, we wish him good luck and we’ll be following his career very closely watching the PSAC.”
