Mel Ingram led the Vikings with a double-double (15 kills and 14 digs). Emily Shannon added eight kills and 12 digs. Kailyn McNamee added 12 digs. Ingram and McNamee each had four aces out of 12 team aces.
“Melanie and Emily were outstanding passing serve,” coach Tony Funsten said.
Eryn Brady had seven kills while Niki Carpenter had two blocks. Carlye Odonisio and Ashley Shannon each had 11 assists. Ashley Shannon added five kills while Odonisio added eight digs.
“The sets were competitive, but in the third set, we were down 13-9,” Funsten said. “Then we sided out, and Emily Shannon went on a five-point run to put us in command.”
The Vikings (21-0) will face fifth-seeded West Chester Henderson at Norristown at 7:30 p.m.
