On Wednesday Januay 9th, Wissahickon hosted Springfield (Montco) in their annual double dual swim meet.  The boys team has always had close meets against the Spartans in the past, so the Trojans came out ready to swim.  The meet started off with an underclassman Medley relay that is sure the push the upper classmen throughout the season.  We had outstanding swims from Danny Knoll and Greg Beyer in the 200 free, both with consideration qualifying times, and with Greg .1 away from the automatic district qualifier.  Jeff Beyer placed 3rd for a 1-2-3 finish for the Trojans.

The meet continued with some incredible swims.  The boys 200 free relay was 1.2 seconds off of the automatic district qualifier, and we had outstanding swims from Gabe Coleman, Dan Haggerty, Will Haggerty and Christian Rudolph, coming in 5th to score points for the Trojans.

Overall, Wiss swam "out of their suits" figuratively for the win over the Spartans.  The final score was 103 -67 -Wiss.
