The Wissahickon Girls Water Polo Team opened their season with a convincing win against Eastern Conference Opponent, Perkiomen Valley securing the victory with a score of 13-8. The Lady Trojans played together and relied heavily on their deep bench to outlast their opponents. Strong defensive efforts were demonstrated by starters Becca Valentine and Anna Alberti defending center. Junior Emma Benning led the way on offense for the Trojans finding the back of the net 7 times! Caitlin Valentine notched a solid game in goal making 11 stops on the road to securing the win. The Lady Trojans team is back in action this Saturday at Mechanicsburg High School for the Wildcat Invitational.
