The Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team traveled to Lehigh University on Friday night to compete in their 4th DVGTCA meet. Medal winners included Kasi Brown for her 6th place finish in the High Jump clearing 4 feet 11 inches and her 6th place finish in the long jump, with a jump of 16 feet, 5 inches. The 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Maddy Hippensteal, Jenna Saunders, Julia Keller and Leike Black also earned a medal for their 5th place finish with a time of 4:20.20. Leike Black placed 8th in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 9.85 and qualified for the Meet of Champs to be held in February.The girls will compete at Lehigh again next Friday night, January 18th.
