Wissahickon Varsity Boys Water Polo Lose a Nail-biter

The Boys varsity team lost another nail-biter against a very solid Pennridge team. . . final score . . . Pennridge 10, Wissahickon 9. Once again the Trojans came out strong in the first half out scoring Pennridge 6 to 4.  Pennridge came roaring back in the third period scoring four unanswered goals.  Wissahickon tied the game in the fourth, but ended up just one short.  Mac Henessey had another solid performance in goal with 14 saves, including a beauty on a breakaway by Pennridge.  Wissahickon played solid defense behind steals by Brad Jones (4), Luke Waechter (2), Eun Bae (1), Billy McFarland (4) and Greg Beyer (4).  Offensively the Trojans were lead by Brad Jones (6 goals on 10 shots and 2 assists), Eun Bae (2 goals on 6 shots and 1 assist), Billy McFarland  (1 goal on 9 shots, and 2 assists) and Greg Beyer, (1 goal on 3 shots, three assists).
