Hannah Dalton – Cabrini University (Volleyball)

Major:  Criminology and Sociology

Final list of colleges:  Cabrini, Stevenson, East Stroudsburg, Marymount

Reasons for choosing Cabrini:  “I really loved the program and the coaching staff, and when I actually went for my visit, it immediately felt like a home atmosphere along with volleyball. I knew if I ever got injured and would never be able to play again, I’d still be happy there.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in volleyball at the collegiate level?  “I started seriously considering volleyball in ninth grade. I played softball, and after I was cut from that team, I was really interested in volleyball, and I realized how much I loved it.”

Coach Dan Marsh says: “Hannah was our everything on offense. She did a lot for us. She’s a great kid from a great family and has a tremendous work ethic. She’s a great leader who wanted the ball in big situations and delivered most of the time.  She’s so strong. She’s probably a natural middle, but she was able to play full rotation outside hitter for us and gave us a threat from the back row too. I’m really proud of her and happy that I got to coach her for her senior year. I’m sure she’ll play great at Cabrini.”
