Coach Amanda Deering says:  “Jessica Moretti was our captain and team MVP, and she played center back for us. Jessica’s passion for the sport and her drive to do the offseason requirements – and I call them requirements because no longer can you just come to your high school, practice during the nine-week season and expect to play in college. Jessica participated in the U.S. Futures program as well as several indoor tournaments and indoor clinics. She did not go the club route, but she’s really honed her skills through her offseason work.
“Jessica also was a leader from the day she stepped on the field as a freshman. She was somebody who wanted to be the best on the field. She worked hard, she was determined, and she came to the offseason practices that Abington holds and worked her tail off.”
