JP Nolan – East Stroudsburg University (Baseball)

Major:  Undecided

Final list of colleges:  East Stroudsburg, Kutztown, West Chester, Arcadia

Reasons for choosing East Stroudsburg:  “It was the best fit for me and my family.”

Most memorable moment at Abington:  “Came in to pitch with the bases loaded, no outs, tie game and bottom of the seventh and got three straight outs and went on to win the game.”

Coach Jon Morrissette says:  “JP is an excellent leader. He was a junior captain, and he was chosen captain again this year. He has a great sense of humor. I think the players really enjoy being around him. He’s very talented. Last year, early in the season, we used him as a shortstop and pitcher, and we often DHed for him, but when we let him hit, he was one of our better hitters, so we had to stop DHing for him the second half of the season. We’re looking for him to lead us with his arm, his bat and his glove.”
