CB South's Dunn & Vitelli to Play Collegiate Basketball

On Wednesday, June 1, 2016, Central Bucks South seniors Taylor Dunn and Jordan Vitelli were recognized for committing to continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level. Taylor Dunn – The Catholic University (Basketball)
Major: 
Special Education
Final list of colleges:  Catholic University, Holy Family, Rochester, Ithaca
Reasons for choosing Catholic U:  “I was always told to go to a school you would go to outside of basketball, and this was always just the perfect fit.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in basketball at the collegiate level?  “I have always loved the sport, and I always knew it was something I wanted to do. I’m just glad it worked out the way it did.”
Coach Beth Mattern says:  “Taylor is a hard working player who will be a great addition to her college program. Taylor works on and off the court to make herself a complete player, and I know the effort she puts into her talents will pay off at Catholic.”

Jordan Vitelli – University of the Sciences (Basketball)

Pre-Physician’s Assistant

Reasons for choosing USciences:  “Definitely being able to play basketball for another four years and my major:”
What was the progression that led you to playing basketball at the collegiate level?  “I realized I wanted to play when my high school season ended. I’ve always wanted to play, but when my high school season ended, it became real that I had to play in college or I would miss it too much.”
Coach Beth Mattern says:  “Jordan has no boundaries on the basketball court. She has a high basketball IQ, she is extremely athletic and can accomplish anything she wants on the court. Jordan epitomizes what it means to be a team player and I think she will be a great teammate at USciences.”
