Mike Class – West Chester University (Football)
Major:
Undecided
Reasons for choosing West Chester:  “The main reason for choosing West Chester was because of the great academics they offer. Also, because of the great level of football they play and knowing I have a chance to be able to win a national championship.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level?  “Ever since I started playing football, I have fallen in love with the game and knew that I wanted to take myself as far as I could.”
Coach Jeff Hollenbach says: “A lot has been said and written about Mike. He’s the all-time record holder in about every category he could hold a record in. He’s just an outstanding player. He plays with a huge motor. He works hard in practice, and that shows up on the playing field. Both Shane and Mike away from football are just great kids, so West Chester is getting some excellent people. I’m looking for both of them to have really good careers.”

Shane Kraynik – West Chester University (Football)
Major:
Business
Reasons for choosing West Chester:  “West Chester was the first school to offer me a scholarship, in early June 2013. I had hoped to play D1 or D1AA obviously, but when things fell through with Richmond and Lafayette, I knew that West Chester was the school for me. They are a good academic school and are just off of a final four run in the D2 NCAA playoffs. Add that to the opportunity to play with one of my best friends, Mike Class, and it was a no brainer.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level?  “I played football my whole life. At the high school level, I realized I had the opportunity to play after high school when coach (Randy) Cuthbert started me as a 10th grader. From then on, I worked hard in the weight room to add weight to my frame and become a successful football player.”
Coach Jeff Hollenbach says:  “Shane is a real athletic 6-5, 260 pounds. When we needed the tough yards, we were going to his side. He’s a three-year starter on the offensive line, he plays with a really big motor and has done a great job for Pennridge football. I only got to coach him the one year, but it was really a privilege for me to be able to coach him for that year. I’m looking at him having an excellent career at West Chester. I think it’s very cool that he’ll be blocking for Mike Class. He’s been blocking for Mike since he was nine years old, and they’re going to continue.”
