Seamus Bishof – Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Football)

Major: Finance

Final list of colleges:  IUP, St. Francis University, Millersville, Lock Haven

Reasons for choosing IUP:  “IUP had a great business school, and they gave me the biggest scholarship out of the rest of the schools. I also liked the team a lot.”

What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football?  “Ever since my freshman year, I’ve been thinking about playing college football. Colleges started getting interested in me the winter of my junior year.”

Coach Adam Collachi says:  “The things that stood out about Seamus were his resiliency and his athleticism for his size. It was an interesting situation transferring in his senior year. He had some doubts at the beginning about how he was going to fit in, but to his credit, he worked hard, he’s very coachable, and he accepted the challenge with great success. He had a really great year, and I think he will be a real asset to Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
“He improved as the year went on. He learned a whole new system, a whole new offense, which was the polar opposite from what he had learned the previous three years. You could see how he was absorbing the coaching. You could see his growth, and I think that’s ultimately what attracted the colleges to him.”
